Sakura had been trying to catch up with the team that left before her, however she was also trying not to tire herself out. She had been running all day, only stopping twice. She had added a little more chakra to her feet to make her go faster. Since she wouldn't be facing the three tails for 2 more days, she figured why not use some chakra?
Sakura stopped at a small town. It's getting late. I better stop here for the night. Sakura thought as she looked for a place to eat at, as well as a place to sleep. It was a rough looking place. Maybe I should have kept going.
Sakura seen a woman sitting behind a booth with 2 children. They all looked skinny and dirty, just like the rest of the town. The woman had lovely long black hair with pale skin, she had blue eyes that sparkled like the ocean. The smallest child looked to be about 5. He had black hair too, but with tan skin and green eyes. He was an adorable little child. The older one looked to be about 16. She was the prettiest girl Sakura had ever seen. Even more prettier than the girls mother. She had dirt on her, but Sakura could see under it and tell that she was a pretty girl inside and out.
She had hair that was darker than her mothers, skin as pale as snow, eyes as blue as the sky, lips as red as a cherry, and her teeth were surprisingly very white. She looked a lot like her mother, just younger and more vibrant.
Sakura walked up to the booth. The lady and children smiled.
"Welcome, what can I get for you?" The lady's silky friendly voice asked. Sakura smiled and looked around. She was selling fruits and vegetables.
"I'll take 3 apples, 1 orange, and 3 carrots." Sakura smiled at the lady. The daughter had been getting the food and putting it in the bag while Skaura was talking.
"That'll be $8.00"The lady said.(Sorry I don't know how the whole yen thing works so I'm just going to use dollars.)
Sakura hands her a 10 dollar bill.
"Keep the change." Sakura said as she took the bag that the young girl handed to her.
"Thank you very much." The lady said. Sakura smiled and walked off. She soon found a hotel. She was given her room key by a big guy with brown hair on his head and some on his face.
When Sakura made it to her room she was surprised to see that it was actually very nice and clean. The rest of the place didn't look to good, but the rooms were kept up. She ate what she had bought at the booth and then took a shower and retired for the night.
Sakura opened her eyes when she heard the birds singing and she felt the sun shine in threw the window. At first she didn't remember where she was, but she soon remembered. She seen a small clock hanging on the wall.
8:30am.
"Holy hell! Why did I sleep so late?! Aw man, now I'm really going to be late!!!!" Sakura yelled as she pulled her cloths on and grabbed her bag. She ran out of the door and down the street. She went back to the booth that she was at yesterday.
'I'm gonna be so late. They'll be battling the three tails long before I even get in the same country!'
"Hello welcome back." The lady smiled.
"Hello." Sakura said.
"What can we get for you today?" The woman asked as her daughter came up and pulled out a bag.
"Just 3 apples," Sakura said, she really needed to hurry. Sakura pulled out a handful of money, more than she had yesterday. "Here will this cover it?" Sakura asked handing it to the lady.
"Why yes, let me get you your change-"
"Don't worry about it, keep it. Have a good day." Sakura smiled as she took the apples that the young girl was handing to her.
"Thank you." The daughter and lady said gratefully. They couldn't believe the kindness of the young girl with pink hair.
Sakura had been running all day. She ate the apples while running. She figured that she'd have to stop again later when she found someplace to eat a proper meal.
I'll just stop once today, and that will be to eat. I'll just have to do all I have to do in one stop. That should help make up for the time I lost this morning.
Sakura thought as she jumped from branch to branch.
It was near dark and Sakura still hasn't stopped. She was tired beyond belief, she seen a small dumpling shop. She stopped in and ate. She sat next to the doorway, she didn't plan on taking long but soon she heard a voice.
"Hurry up will ya, if you don't then I'll leave you behind, you old fucker." Sakura stopped dead in her tracks. She knew that voice, there was no mistaking it.
"Shut up Hidan." Another voice barked. Sakura knew that voice as well.
'The zombie brothers.' Sakura quickly ran out the back door as the two Akatsuki came in through the front.
'What would they be doing here?' Sakura asked herself.
As a medic Sakura knew that her body was about to give out on her from the strain that she has put on it today.
Guess I'm camping in the woods tonight.
Sakura woke up with a start. She looked around at her surroundings. Trees, trees, and more trees. Judging from the sky, it was early maybe around 6:30am. The sun was just starting to rise, not that you could really see it for all the trees.
They're probably almost there, I need to hurry.
Sakura stood up grabbed her stuff and left. She was close by the Land of water, she could smell it. A few more minutes and she came face to face with water. Now came the hard part, she had to find them.
Sakura walked around the town and scoped the land that was around it. She looked high and low, but never found them.
'I didn't beat them here did I?'
Sakura thought to soon, just then she heard a loud crashing noise.
"That must be them, there close by." Sakura said out loud. She took off into the direction of the noise.
I hope I'm not to late.
