Sakura sat there unsure on how she ended up in her room. She assumed that Itachi had put her there.
'But why didn't he stay?Doesn't he still love me?' Water threatened to spill out of Sakura's emerald green eyes. Before she got to teary eyed she thought back to the gen-jutsu.
'What does it mean? What was he trying to show or tell me? Why didn't he just say it?' Sakura was beyond confused. She didn't know what to think of it. Should she ask someone? Who could she trust? After a moment or two she decided that it would probably be best for everyone if she just kept this to herself.
'He'll come back to me. I know he will.' Sakura thought confidently.
She looked at her clock.
9:32pm
Sakura crawled out of her bed and walked to her bathroom. It was small, as was the house, but it was enough for just one person who was barley there. She turned the shower on. She stripped off her clothing and tossed them on the floor. She stepped into the the warm and inviting water. It was just what she needed to relieve the stress that was built up in her body.
20 minutes later Sakura regretfully stepped out of the shower and wrapped a fuzzy blue towel around her body, and then another one for her long pink hair.
After she finished in the bathroom she came out into her room. She had on a white night gown. She was exhausted. She flopped down on her bed and covered up. It only took a few seconds before she was out like a light.
Sakura awoke to an annoying beeping noise. She slowly opened her eyes and smashed her hand on the alarm clock. 6:00am. Sakura laid there for a moment longer before she decided to roll out of bed. She headed to her closet.
"Damn missions starting so early." Sakura mumbled to herself. Lady Tsunade had sent an anbu late last night to Sakura's house. It was a women with purple hair, her and Sakura had been kind of friends. They didn't really get many missions together, but Sakura always admired her, as did she to her. She told Sakura that Tusnade wanted to see her at 6:30am the next day.
Sakura grabbed her Joinin outfit and made her way to the bathroom.
Once she was done she grabbed her headband that was on the night table and tied it tightly on her head as she always had worn it. She ate a quick breakfast and gulped down some water before running out the door, and heading to the Hokage tower at 6:25am.
"6:30. Exactly on time."Tsunade said as she was sitting at her desk with Sakura standing in front of her.
"What's the mission malady?" Sakura asks, ready to go into battle. Tsunade smiled at her student.
"The three tails is lose near the land of water." Tsunade started.
"But the Akatsuki had the three tails?" Sakura knew that they had the three tails, 'How did it get loose?'
"Yes. We think that they may be lurking around somewhere. Will they be a problem? Will it affect your judgment?" Tsunade asked.
"No." Sakura said sternly. She despised Madara, but the others, well she didn't despise them. They had rubbed her the wrong way in the past and she never really got to know them that much, so it didn't bother her to go up against one of them.
"What about Itachi?" Tsunade knew she was sailing in dangerous waters, but she had to know. Sakura was taken back by what Tsunade said.
"Itachi is dead." Sakura responded. Her face showed the sorrow that she felt. Hiding her emotions has never came easily.
"But lets say he wasn't, would you be able to kill him?" Skaura was confused to say the least.'Why is she asking me these questions? Why is she being so crul?' Sakura thought back to the gen-jutsu that she was under. 'Could it really be true? Is Itachi alive? Did Tsunade find out about it?' Sakura had all of these questions and idea's swimming around in her brain.
"No." Sakura said. There was no way that she would be able to kill him. Tsunade wasn't surprised. Of course Sakura wouldn't kill Itachi. She loves him.
"I sent a sealing team, they are going to seal the three tails into a scroll, Shizune, Ino, Hinata, and Tenten. I would have sent you instead of TenTen, but you needed to rest, you've been working to hard. I also sent Shikamaru and Kiba, they are all the sealing team has for protection, so you better hurry down there. They left a day ago. It takes 3 days to get there, so you better get going." Tsunade dismissed.
"Right." Sakura said as she left to go pack for her mission.
