chapter 24 dally and soda epilogue three years later

Soda's pov..
So i guess your all wondering whats been happening these past three years. Well first of me and dally finally got married right after pony graduated high school. We've been married just almost three years, and we are expecting our first baby 'via srrogate of course' we used dally's sperm and a dona's eggs. Dally and i are looking forward to becoming dads.

Dally says if we decide to have any more kids then we'll use my sperm. I don't care either way. We have found out we are expecting a boy, which we've decided to call austin curtis-winston.

Dally started his own roofing company six months ago and business has been real good. We moved to texas a year after we were married. The lifestyle suits both of us real good since we both love horses and rodeos. We can't wait to bring up our kids here.

We heard that since the war had begun, there was no longer feuds  going on between soc and greasers. Darry still lives in tulsa. He's the boss of a big construction company there now. He's married with twin girls who are now two.

Pony and curly are still together and are very happy. Pony writes at least once a week.

Steve got ownership of the dx he and i use to practically run. He calls me up sometimes. He's going to be one of my kids godfathers when the time comes. He recently asked evie to marry him. Took him long enough i telk him, but i'm happy for him. They already have a son who steve insisted on calling pepsi. Evie was unsure at first, but personally i think it suits him. He's almost three. Yeah thats right. Steve got evie pregnant just before dal and me got married.

Heres something funny for yas, so sandy came back to tulsa over a year ago now. She was more than happy to hear about me and dal. She and i are real good friends now. Anyway she and two-bit were hanging out at the dairy queen and well o e thing lead to another and last i heard they were looking to move in together. They don't have any kids together except sandy's kid who's five now. She called him jack after her dad. Two-bit treats him as if he were his own son.

As for me i'm still very creative in the kitchen. Whenever dal sees me using the food colouring, he just smiles. "One of the many reasons i love you sweetheart" he says.

Our baby is due around thanksgiving and we've invited all our friends and family to come to texas for thanksgiving, even if austin still hasn't been  born yet. Dally and i had an update on him yeterday fom michelle, his tummy mommy. She says out baby is doing real well, and is growing at a good pace inside her. I love to put my hand on her stomache and feel my son kick.

Dal and i have already set up austins nursery. We have chosen a cowboy theme, dally says he can't wait for our little cowboy to arrive. Pony says he and curly are thinkin about getting a dog since neither of them are ready for kids yet.
