chapter 25 thanksgiving

General pov..

Everyone had made their way to texas via plane, driving and train. Darry and his wife flew with their twins. They thought it might be too far to travel by road. Dally was going to the airport to meet them. Soda on the other hand had gone to meet curly and pony at the train station.

Steve, evie, and their son pepsi, decided to drive as did two-bit, sandy and jack.

On thanks giving the gang was all about to sit down while dally carved the big turkey. Soda got up when he heard the phone ring. "Dal" he called. "Yeah" dal called back. Soda walked back in with a big smile. "That was the hospital, michelle went into labour, austins on his way" dally stopped carving the turkey and picked soda up spinning him around.

Everyone hugged them at hearing the news. "Come on babe, we gotta go to the hospital" soda says grabbing dally's keys. The gsng decides to follow. They all want to be there when the new addition arrives.

Six hours after reaching the hospital and with one more push from michelle, baby austin is born. He weighs 6 pound 5 ounces. He looks just like dallas. The two boys thank michelle for doing this amazing thing for them. They even ask her to be austins god mother. They introduce him to the gang.

Soda has tears in his eyes and so does dal. "Well i don't think anything could ever top this thanksgiving babe" soda says holding austin. Dally kisses his new son, then looks at soda and kisses him. "Nope, this is definately the best thanks giving by far " dally replied smiling.

So there you have it. And now every year on thanks giving, the gang now has another reason to be thankful every year. And soda gets an excuse to make birthday cake on this special day.
