"thank you ya doofus, now let's start the potter train,"

I was sitting on the couch with a blanket snuggled on me because I was cold for some reason and garrett, Garrett was just full on laying on me for warmth apparently. We were half way through the 1st movie when I said, "Hey Garrett you want snacks? Or anything?" He nodded with his eyes still on Harry potter. I didn't want to get up so I just reached to my phone to order food.

I read her message and quickly glanced at Garrett but brushed off my feeling of excitement. I went to post mate and ordered us lots of food and then turned off my phone to play with garretts hair.

[Time Skip]

*knock knock*

That must've been the post mate. "Hey Garrett, im gonna go get the food, okay?" Garrett sat up so I could get it but instead got up and got the food for me. "You dingus, why'd you go to get the food when I was going to?" I asked in a teasing tone. "Well you let me into your home so I wanna be nice and help at some points," he responded while putting the food on the coffee table that was in from of my couch. "How dare you be a soft boi and help me," i said. Garrett just giggled, "Lets take a break from Harry potter and eat, sound okay?"
"Yeah that sounds good," i replied.

"And then! After the whole dance she just said 'fUcK mE jErRy' and ran off while doing the naruto run. I had never been more confused in my life!" I exclaimed as I told Garrett a story of my first girlfriend. "Oh my god, what is your life y/n?" Garrett laughed to which I did too.
"I have no idea Garrett haha! But now it's your turn, tell me a story about yourself," i commanded. "Uhm well, one time in my life I really liked this one person, they made me really confused but i liked it and they made me feel special. One time we were going on a trip and they finally said they liked me but i didn't say anything, i just said okay. I think I hurt them but i still liked them and cared. Hell, i think I still like them," Garrett told his kind of story. "Oh, who was it? Would I know them?" I asked. "You might know them, i think you have met them actually."
"Oh really? Where did i meet them? What's their name?" I asked again basically.

"I don't feel comfortable saying their name but you've known them for a while I think," Garrett explained. "Oh.. uh okay, that's cool heh," i replied to Garrett. Unsure of what to say next I just blurted out, "Do you want to stay over or do you want to go home cause its getting a little bit late so I want to know before its too late?"

Garrett looked at me with excited eyes and nodded like a little child getting candy. I giggled and said, "Okay then you doofus," i replied and patted his head.

[Time Skip because I'm tired]

It was 9 pm currently and I was tired, so was Garrett so we decided to go to bed early. I got into pajamas but Garrett couldn't cause he had no clothes so he just laughed about it. "So you get my bed and I'll sleep on the couch okay?" I told to Garrett. "Not this again, y/n you're not sleeping on your couch. If we need to we can sleep on the same bed again, its not like we haven't before haha," Garrett explained to me. I sighed and obliged. We got into my bed and I got comfy, so did Garrett. "Goodnight Garrett, sweet dreams," i told to Garrett before trying to sleep. "You too y/n."

[2:07am]

I still wasn't asleep and I was starting to think about my past too much which as my therapist said isn't good and I should try to avoid but i just couldn't. He was coming back to my head. Their words. I couldn't save her. It's too much. Too much. I sat up and tried to control my breath but i couldnt. I was hyperventilating. My heart wouldn't stop beating at a rapid pace. Garrett heard me apparently and went into panic mode and sat up too. "Y/n are you okay? What's wrong?" Garrett asked me. That's when the tears finally started to fall. "It's pointless, i couldn't help, im a disgrace. They're gonna come back. And they're gonna hurt me again," i said while holding my head in my hands. "What? Who's coming back? Who's gonna hurt you?" Garrett asked in a panic tone. "Garrett help me, i think I'm insane," i sobbed. Garrett made me look into his eyes, those beautiful eyes that I feel in love with and guess what he did. He just kissed me. Without saying anything he just did it. He pulled away and spoke.

"its okay, its gonna be okay. no one is gonna hurt you and whoever you think is coming back isn't and if they do i will protect you. i promise. i love you y/n l/n and i dont think ill stop ever so ill always protect you."

I am not proud if this chapter at all, im really sorry that it's bad. But if you did like it then thank you. Thank you to anyone who just deals with my crappy writing. I think this chapter is lowkey a filler even though you do kiss Garrett in it. Do you guys think the kiss was too rushed or was it okay? I love you guys so much my gæ bbs. Byeeee. <3
