"what are you doing here?" zack asked confusion and anger evident in his voice. he glared at the girl standing in front of him mad at the fact he was locked in a room with her and at the fact that tomika helped with this plan.
"this is the only way you would talk to me..." summer answered nervously biting her bottom lip. she had been preparing for this since tomika had come up with the plan and she felt so unprepared standing in front of the black haired boy.
"there's nothing to talk about." zack's cold tone answered back as he pulled at the locked door.
"you and i both know there is" she gently placed her hand on his shoulder feeling his body tense under her touch.
"so then talk" he answered shaking her hand off his shoulder and going to sit on the edge of tomika's bed waiting for her to say whatever it is she wanted to say.
"I'm sorry zack, you were right about asher and i should've listened to you" Summer softly responded looking at the ground as she spoke. zack scoffed causing summer to look up at him.
"thats it?" he said his anger growing by the minute. "if you think im sorry and telling me that I'm right is all it takes to fix this then you're wrong"
"what else do you want me to say?" summer pleaded as tears built up in her eyes. "Asher was the only guy that has ever shown any interest in me and liked me... well i guess he didn't really like me... but " summer sighed running her fingers through her hair, all she wanted was zack back in her life and she didn't know what to say to get him back in her life.
"you have got to be kidding me" zack said letting out a cold laugh. he stood up quickly walking toward summer wrapping an arm around her waist pulling her flush against his chest smashing his lips to hers. she was shocked by his actions and hesitated at first but melted into it kissing him back. after a minute they broke apart to catch his breaths both of them breathing heavily. "summer i like you, I've liked you since we first met, i thought you would've realized that when i blew up at you after the live show" zack stated looking into the blue orbs of the girl he had finally admitted his feelings for.
she stared at him for a moment processing what he had just told her. he sighed letting his arm fall to his side turning around to go sit back on the bed.
"I like you too zack" summer soft voice cut through the silence that had settled as she grabbed his wrist to stop him from leaving.
"yeah right" zack sarcastically answered rolling his eyes. he didn't need her pretend to like him to spare his feelings.
"im not joking zack. i really like you i have always liked you and never thought that you would like be back. thats why when asher started showing an interest in me i decided to go out with him, because i thought you saw me as just a friend" she said.
"seriously?" zack said a smile starting to spread across his face. she nodded a smile starting to grow on her own. zack let out a laugh wrapping his arms around her waist and spinning her around. summer let out a squeal wrapping her arms around his neck not expecting him to pick her up.
"zack! put me down!" she said in between giggles. he set her back down on the floor and placed a kiss on her lips.
"will you go out with me?" zack asked a wide smile settled on his face.
"yes, i would love to" summer responded nodding her head.
"FINALLY!" summer and zack turned toward the door to see tomika's head peeking into the room. "oops... didn't mean to say that out loud" the short brunette girl let out a nervous laugh before closing the door. summer and zack both laughed before sharing another kiss.
