REAL LIFE
The next day at school everyone could tell something was wrong between freddy and tomika when tomika did not walk to class with freddy and sat in between kale and summer. freddy was hurt, but not surprised, when he entered school that morning and saw tomika wasn't at her locker waiting for him. the hazel eyed boy was more determined now for his plan to work. he felt nervous as he grabbed what he needed from his locker, but he knew this was his only hope of getting his girl back and went to set up for his big apology.
tomika watched as students walked through the door, yet none of them were freddy. she began to feel worried wondering what happened to the brown haired boy but quickly shook it off. she was supposed to be mad at him, though how could she when she cared about him so much? once the final bell rang signaling the start of the period everyone took their seats starting on the work the teacher had placed up on the board.
"attention students, please report to the auditorium for a surprise performance" principal mullin's voice announced through the PA system. all the teens cheered as they gathered their belongings glad to be getting out class for a while. As everyone made there way out the door, summer and tomika hung behind taking their time grabbing their belongings.
"hey, how are you feeling?" summer asked as she placed her bag onto her shoulder. the younger girl had called her last night after the whole ordeal and had been acting not like herself all day.
tomika shrugged her shoulders swinging her bag onto her back. "i've been better" the brunette replied making her way out the door. summer nodded following her best friend out the door.
"have you talked to freddy today?" summer questioned as they made their way down the hall to the auditorium. the blonde already knew the answer but it was worth a shot.
"no" tomika answered in a dull tone not wanting to talk about the boy who broke her heart. summer nodded her head again taking the hint that the subject at hand was not one she wanted to discuss. when they reached the auditorium they found seats next to zack, who was sat a few rows from the front, and waited for the whatever was about to happen to start.
"alright settle down," principal mullen began grabbing the attention of the students. "can tomika young please come to the stage" she then announced into the mic before exiting the stage. a confused expression made its way onto tomika's face as she looked at summer and then zack who were both grinning at her.
"what's happening?" the brown eyed girl questioned her two friends a nervous tone setting into her voice. summer and zack, who were both in on the plan, shrugged their shoulders and each grabbed a hold of one of tomika's hands pulling her up out of her seat and dragging her up to the stage.
"guys, what's going on?" tomika pulled against the grip her friends had on her hands trying to escape having to go up on stage but it was no use. once they were finally able to get her up on stage they sat her down on one of the two stools.
"don't be mad at us" zack commented seeing the death glare tomika was sending there way.
"yeah, just give him a chance please" summer begged as she and zack made there way to the side of the stage to watch.
"give who a cha-" tomika started to ask but got cut off by the sound of a guitar through the speakers.

So far from the stars" freddy softly began to sing into his headset as he walked out into the stage staring at the petite brunette. tomika let out a gasps, her eyes going wide at the site of the hazel eyed boy.

Wish I was there with you now" he continues as he sits on the other stool that had been placed on stage. as he continues to sing various students who were also in on the plan come up onto the stage each handing tomika a rose, presenting her with 12 in total. as freddy's performance neared the end tomika looked over at summer as tears built up in her eyes. summer could tell they weren't tears of happinesses and a pang of guilt radiated through her chest as she gave a weak smile to her best friend.

the students applauded and cheered, however the praise quickly stopped as freddy, and the students, waited for tomika's response to his performance. tomika's breathing sped up as she looked between freddy and the auditorium full of her peers. the smile that once graced freddy's lips was now replaced with a worried look.
"tomika-" freddy started to say reaching out to tomika, but she quickly stood up backing away from the brown haired boy.
"i-i can't do this" tomika whispered dropping the flowers and running off the stage past zack and summer out of the auditorium. the auditorium was filled with the sound of gasps and whispers at the scene that had just taken place.
"tomika!" zack and summer both cried out worry evident in there voice as the youngest of the group pushed past them. freddy ran out after her following her into an empty classroom.
"tomika i'm sor-" freddy tried to talk before getting cut off my tomika.
"stop! why would you do that? do you really like playing with my feelings that much?" she softly asked as tears streamed down her cheeks.
"no tomika i never wanted to hurt you" freddy answered running his fingers through his hair. tomika's once quiet crying turned into sobs.
"then why? why do this to me?" tomika questioned as sobs racked her body. she wrapped her arms around herself.
"because," he began trying to gather the words he wanted to say.
"BECAUSE WHAT?" she shouted growing tired and impatient.
"BECAUSE I LIKE YOU TOMIKA" he shouted back as tears began to form in his own eyes. tomika let out a gasps at his comfession not expecting that to be his answer.
"because i like you. i've liked you for so long and didn't think you would like me back. that night you came to my house and saw ryan and me together was a set up, she broke into my house and tried to get me to be with her but i don't like her like that. i'm not even friends with her anymore, but she doesn't matter right now. what matters right now is us because i can't lose you tomika. i can't lose my best friend and the one thing i care about most in life. i get it if you don't like me like that anymore but i can't bare to lose you tomika so please forgive me" freddy explained through tears. tomika listened intently before wiping away her own tears and walking over to freddy.
"your really fucking oblivious if you think i don't like you" tomika stated before throwing her arms around his neck and pulling him down into a kiss. freddy immediately kissed back wrapping his arms around the tomika's waist. they stayed like this until the sound of cheering could be heard from the door way of the classroom.
there stood summer, zack, lawrence, kale, esme, and mr.finn all cheering for them. summer had her phone out and they realized that she was filming them and probably live streaming what happened. tomika turns red at the realization and buries her face in freddy's chest as he lets out a chuckle placing a kiss on the top of her head.
"it's about time!" the six intruders commented in unison causing freddy and tomika to roll there eyes.
"we know" they both replied at the same time as they stared into each others eyes a grin plastered on both of their faces.
