Cinder and Ember land in the forest and two others come out of the shadows. Ember stands up and she looks around. Don't worry Cinder says it'll all be over real soon....she picks Ember up and pushes her against a tree....or it would've been if you had just played your part...Ember pushes off the tree and tackles Cinder to the ground. This isn't a game Ember says people's lives are at stake. Eh. You're just like your mother...Cinder says she rips off Ember's glove and she presses her hand to Ember's left hand....NO! Ember says as her eyes begin to glow...Cinder yanks her towards her and tosses her into a tree Ember hits the tree and she falls forward. She stands up as the two teens converge towards her Ember avoids them and she and cinder begin fighting both using dao swords Ember swirls dodging and hitting blows to both of the teens simotanously Ember turns and Cinder hits her in her chest and Ember flies backwards she puts her hands out and catches herself then she flies forward and knocks the three of them into a tree. Ember twirls in the air transforming into her pheniox form she flies until she crashes on a cliff near the school ....she changes back into her human form she camouflages herself against a tree curling up to make herself smaller. She tries to transform again but can't closing her eyes she feels for cinder and the others but doesn't feel them. But then she feels them strongly and she makes herself unseen against the tree. Cinder comes into the light and says with that injury the girl wouldn't have gotten far. I don't get it...you don't need to get it Emerald just obey. Cinder says smiling....she looks around....we should've had her it was three against one you're forgetting who her mother was cinder says. A job like this requires ....precision. Cinder looks around again and she says come maybe our friend knows where she went off to. Ember watches the trio get into their airship and fly away. A portal opens and Neo and Roman come out of it. Kid? Ember? Please come out I know you're here...Neo elbows him. Kid please I couldn't stop her please come out...I'll...Neo will take you back to the school I promise ...Ember slowly comes into view. Ah ....man..he goes over to Ember who is pale from concealing herself. Neo bends down and helps her up. Then Roman picks her up then a crow flies by and Ember gasps...a moment later Qrow comes around the corner. Put my daughter down Torchwick..Qrow says....Ember groans clinging to Roman not fully aware of what is going on Neo open a portal to the roof of the school Roman says. Torchwick what are you doing? We don't have time...Roman says. He looks behind them again. NEO he says. Neo opens the portal and Torchwick goes over to it and says well? Qrow goes in after Torchwick and Torchwick hands Ember to him after they touch the roof. Come on Neo he says after they get to the school lets go see what her highness wants Neo grins almost laughing as she opens another portal. Why....Qrow says. I did it for her Roman says and ...for Amber. Roman turns...wait Qrow says I would love to stay and talk..but I cant Roman says....Roman tossles his hair and then he goes to step into the portal. I'll see you around huntsman ....Ember...ember...Qrow says...Ember what happened? Humm? Ember says ....you're ok now kiddo you're safe..I've got you pal...he goes over to the window and knocks on the nearest window. Jaune opens the window in his bunny onesie huh? Oh my gosh! Ember! He says open the window kid Qrow says. Jaune opens the window and Qrow steps in with Ember in his arms one of you contact the headmaster Qrow says. I...I'm going to try to wake her up. Ember...Ember please...Ember's eyes open....dad? hey kiddo...the door opens and ruby weiss yang and blake come in surrounding Qrow and Ember...Ember! You disappeared and we were so worried and..Ruby....Blake says right Ruby says I...I'm glad you're ok. Ember falls back into unconsciousness as Ozpin and Professor Goodwitch and Ironwood all come into the room..let's just get her to the infirmary Ozpin says....Ember is put in a bed and connected to several machines.....Qrow is shown out of the room

Two days later ....

Ozpin's office he paces as they all talk about what "might've happened" Uh....Qrow do you want a drink? NO! Qrow says his eyes are bloodshot and he hasn't had anything alcoholic to drink in two days....he mainly has had coffee and water....you really should try to sleep- I cant sleep Qrow says not now. He sits down in one of the chairs .....Qrow the doctor just messaged me he said you can go- Qrow is out of the room faster then humanly possible- see Ember now Ozpin finishes. He sighs.
