*knock* knock* "Dad!" They heard Mehar looking for him. Taking a deep breath closing his eyes Shaurya dropped his head on her shoulder. Mehak giggled looking at his face and pushed him away running towards the door thanking their daughter for saving her from another embarrassment infront of their family members. "Better luck next time Mr Khanna!" She said sticking her tongue out. "Shaurya Khanna, romancing in this house without any disturbance won't be possible, in this lifetime atleast." He sighed thinking.

As soon as the door flew open Mehar ran across the room to her dad. "Let's go! We are getting late! They will leave us behind." She jumped up and near trying to pull him of the bed. Meanwhile Mehak took the chance to escape from there. "Late? For what?" Asked a confused Shaurya. "You promised to take us all out after the match. Ice cream?! Remember?! Chote papa wanted to go without you, but I won't go without you." She urged. "Vicky yaar! Do bachoun ka baap hai lekin isse ek choti si bachi nahi sambhalti." He made a note in his head to kill Vicky once he gets his hands on him. But he could never say no to his little angel As promised he took all the kids out leaving Vicky at home as a punishment for ruining his plan of spending some time with Mehak.

"Kya yaar Vicky tum bhi na, ek bhi kaam dhang se nahi kar sakte." Whined Nehal as their plan got ruined. "Arry is mein ab meri kya galti hai jab Mehar ko apne dad ke saath hee jana tha." The poor guy tried to reason with his not so happy wife. "Now what are you both arguing over, kaunsa kaam nahi hua?" They were interupted by a curious Mehak who was passing by their room and overheard them arguing about something. "Nothing babhi, you know about her daily moodswings right." He said trying to divert the topic. In return she nudged her elbow into his side and whispered "I will see you at night." At the same time unaware of Mehak's presence in the room Sonal barged into the room almost yelling at the top of her lungs. "What is this Vicky! You were suppossed to take the kids out right?! Then how come Shaurya went instead?!" Said Sonal, disappointedly. "Sonal, jeeju promised the kids to take them out after the match and he had some work pending so he stayed BEHIND." Nehal signaled with her eyes to stop her from ranting further and to look behind. But Sonal wasn't really in the mood to stop. "Do you even know he promised to take us all out on a holiday if we would have succeeded in getting them spend some time alone." She flopped on to the chair. "We should have sent them out, somewhere away from home." She squealed in pain as she felt her ear being twisted. "So this was all your plan and the reason why you guys were so eager to get rid of me." Said Mehak looking down at Sonal and then at Nehal. "Bhabi, don't you think you both deserve to spend sometime together, just you and him. For once without any disturbance. You guys do so much for us, for this house. Even we have some responsibility towards the two of you. And I have seen bhaiya, no matter how hectic or busy his days are at the end of the day he always looks forward to see you, to spend some time with you. He deserves it! You deserve it! You gave up on White Chillies to give your hunderd percent to this house and it's responsibilities, even though you know it, we know it, you were and you still are capable of handling both of them together. You guys need a break!" Vicky tried to explain. "We love you Mehak." Said Sonal taking her in a bear hug. She was speechless! Overwhelmed knowing how much they were loved by their family members. "I love you too guys." Spreading her arms wide she took the other two for a group hug aswell.

It was quite late. After having dinner everyone had retired to their respective rooms. Shaurya didn't say much as he was still pissed off and after finishing dinner went away as he had to make an important phone call. After being done with her last few chores Mehak decided to make it up to Shaurya. She entered their room to find it empty. She knew Shaurya very well he might be upset but he wasn't someone who would give up that easily, he must be up to something again. She didn't mind though, his love and attention were the only way of living in this hectic world. He was the peace she could never find anywhere else but in his presence. But where was he? He was nowhere to be seen. "Shaurya?!" She knocked on the door of the bathroom, but no answer. Now she was sure he must be upto something but what? She walked up to the balcony to find him missing from there aswell. "Mehar, he might be with Mehar." She remembered hearing them talk about the new bedtime story. She decided to check on Mehar's room. Without making much noise she opened the door to Mehak's room to find them both asleep cuddled up against each other on her tiny single bed. With Mehar holding the bedtime story book against her chest with Shaurya's head bent over Mehar's head. These were the little moments she lived for. Where as Shaurya was her heart, Mehar was the heartbeat. She couldn't imagine to live without either of them. At times she would just wish the time would stop and for Mehar to stay this tiny. What Mehar and Shaurya shared was something beyond love, it was something out of the world. Something that always amazed her. After Mehar's birth Shaurya had changed alot. In these 5 and a half year it might be once or twice that she would have seen a glimpse of the old Shaurya Khanna version 1.0, other than that there was nothing that could make him angry. Somewhere down the line she knew it was the fear of unknowingly making another enemy and putting everyones life in danger again, Mehar's life in danger. She silently walked up to the bed taking the book away, she tucked Mehar properly in the blanket. "Goodnight sweetheart." She whispered pressing her lips against her forehead. She smiled looking up at his side, he was such a kid. He looked so innocent while sleeping. Who would say he was one of the world's biggest hoteliers. She walked around the bed towards him. After having his head adjusted on the pillow and covered in the blanket, she leaned over brushing her lips at the corner of his lips. "Sweet dreams." She whispered against his ear while ruffling his hair affectionately.

With a slight tug on her hand he pulled her beside him on the bed. "What are you doing?! Mehar will wake up." She mumbled under her breath while trying hard to get up from the bed. "That's not the way you wish good night Mrs Khanna and stop moving! You are definitely going to wake her up by breaking this bed." He chuckled with his hold getting tighter on her. She sighed there was no use of arguing with him, giving up she dropped her head on his chest. He shifted closer to Mehar to give Mehak some space. The bed might be a single bed but it had the right kind of space for the cute little family that they were. Resting her chin on his chest, she looked up at him with a soft smile. She was in love with the sound of his heartbeat, with the warmth of his tight embrace. It always left her in an never ending trance.  He was definitely the best thing happened to her. Wrapping her arms around him she pulled him closer as she felt him slip his fingers through her hair and bend his head to press soft kisses against her head. He looked at Mehar and Mehak's joined hands on his chest. He pulled them
even closer. Having them both at either side of him was nothing less than a blessing. One was his heart and the other one was his soul and together they both made him whole. He looked down at his lady love while she drifted away into a deep peaceful slumber. She made his world beautiful with her divine existence. He didn't love her out of habbit. She lived under his bones, her love ran through his veins, she was in every hidden place of his existence. There were a thousand reasons to love her but no words were enough to express why he loved her this much. He loved her for the way she touched his heart with her warmth and tenderness, for the way she showered him with her unconditional love and compassion. Her love was the most purest and honest form of love. He could search for an eternity and would never find a woman who would love him the way she did. She sealed the torn edges of his heart, healed the aching wounds of his soul. Loved him as if she was created to love him in every possible sense, beyond anyone's imagination. No one could ever read his heart the way she did like her own.  Hidden in his embrace only she had the power to whisper love into his soul and steal heartbeats from his chest. And most of all she gave him the privilege of being a father. Slowly he drifted away to sleep peacefully while he held into his angels as if holding onto his life. With his soul floating on the stars and his heart shining with eternal love.....

Tomorrow - The time froze as she stood outside the room witnessing the most adorable sight ever. Every time it felt like the first time seeing her sitting on his lap with him busy struggling to get her a straight ponytail. It was funny to see him undo her ponytail umpteen times and it was more amuzing to the little angel. Knowing the fact that she was an impatient person just like her dad, her waiting so patiently for her superdad to get it right was one of the reasons she adored both of them so much. "How does it look?" Asked a nervous Shaurya. "It's not like the way mumma does it but it's nice, I will manage for today." She said twisting her ponytail while kissing him on his cheek.

First of all I want to thank everyone who has been reading and liking it and to those who wait for me to update so patiently. My busy schedule never lets me update on time. As It's always a struggle to update on time, I don't even get the time to re-check the grammer/spelling mistakes I have made. I know sometimes I forget words (being a writer that's really stupid I know🙈) My excusses If there are some mistakes, soon I will take out some time to correct them. I might wrapp this up very soon. I have a new concept on my mind so if things work out I might write a proper fanfiction instead of these write up's. ❤️
