"What the hell!" An already annoyed Jiya turned around to see him standing infront of her eyes with a huge smirk plastered on his face. "There you are! What took you so long to come out? And where is your luggage?" She tried to sound polite. "Calm down girl! What's wrong with you? You wanted me to come, right? So stop asking me these questions." He rolled his eyes at Jiya. "We shouldn't waste any time and get back to our plan. I want to be done with this as soon as possible." He said, walking into the parking area. "But what's the plan? I hope you aren't planning to hurt anyone?" Jiya asked while both of them took a seat in the car. "Let me remind you one thing, everything is fair in love and war." He glared making her look away. "And since when have you become so worried about anyone getting hurt? Don't tell me all of a sudden you have formed a soft corner for Khanna's." He raised his brow at Jiya. "Come on M! You know I am not into voilence and all. Do whatever you want to but don't make me a part of this nonsense." Jiya spoke, looking out of the window. "Do you love Shaurya?" She looked at him taken aback at the sudden question.
"Is Jiya going along?" She said freeing herself from his hold. Taking a deep breath she turned around and pretended to continue packing his stuff. "Jiya?! From where has she come into this conversation? Not again Mehak!" He closed his eyes in distress, he didn't want to have another argument over Jiya just before leaving. He grabbed her by her arm and twirled her around to face him. He wrapped an arm around her waist and pulled her against his chest, pressing her as close as he could. "Don't do this Mehak! Don't make it harder for me. I want to see you smiling before I leave." he said in his deepest voice. "Tum mera kehna maan rahe ho? Jo main maanoun?" She wiggled out of his hold. Turning around she swallowed and looked away, clearly having difficulties controlling her tears. He couldn't see her crying, but couldn't do anything as he didn't want her to know where he was heading to. Sighing, he pulled her back into his arms and showered her tear-streaked face with soft and tender kisses. "Now can I get a smile from you, please? The one that makes my heart flutter." He pleaded, cupping her face in his hands. She pouted her lips, shaking her face from left to right. "Shaurya can't you really cancel this meeting of yours?! Please?! Mujhe kuch acha nahi lag raha, mein kab se keh rahi houn kuch to galat hai. Please aaj mat jao na." She pleaded him to cancel his sudden meeting. "I can't Mehak. It's important. Please try and understand Biwi." He sighed. "You don't love me anymore! Would it have been Mehar you would have never said no to her." She spoke hitting him on his chest. "You are impossible even Mehar doesn't behave the way you do sometimes." He teased, pulling her cheeks. "It's not funny Shaurya. I can't even explain what I am feeling. It's the same kind of feeling I had that day." She paused, her eyes glistening with the same fear she had at that time. "The day when we could have lost everyone...the day Svetlana mami..." She didn't complete her sentence and looked at him, holding rest of it. That's when it struck him, the date.... exactly 7 ago on the same day they all escaped a major mishap.
Flash back
"I knew she was going to do this!" Said a frustrated Shaurya, realizing Svetlana had mislead them again. Along Vicky and Nehal's newborns even the rest of their family members where held hostage too until they would give Svetlana the property papers. "I hope she won't harm anyone of them...why is she even playing games with us?! When we are ready to give her the papers than why are they being tortured." She said, letting out a helpless cry. "We need to get out of here, she might be somewhere close." He pulled her behind the bushes upon seeing Svetlana's goons walk on a distance. "I told you Mehak, you should have stayed at home. This place is not safe at all." He hid Mehak inside his embrace while they waited for Svetlana's goons to pass by. I am sure Svetlana is going to double cross us again." He looked around the place. "No I am not going anywhere without you and without getting our family members out of this mess. Jeeyein gey to sab saath mein or mar...." She got inturrepted before she could finish her sentence, he put a finger to her lips. "Mehak, don't you ever say that word again...We all have a long way to go. Hum jeeyein gey, apnoun ke liye, apnoun ke saath. Hum ladenge us nanhi si jaan ke liye jisko is duniya mein abhi ana hai. Mein sab theek kar doun gha, kuch galat nahi hone doun gha. Aaj ke baad jo nayi subah aye ghi woh humare liye nayi zindagi ki shuruaat hogi! I promise ....You trust me, right?!" He paused and blinked back the moisture shining in his eyes. She squeezed his hand, nodding her head she smiled through her tears, knowing her husband was the strongest and would never let anyone harm anyone of them. "But what are we going to do in such short span of time? Abhi tak to woh yahan pohanch bhi chukki hogi." Worried she looked around the bushes they had been hiding behind all this while. "Do you really think she is going to leave us this easily. This time I won't let her harm any of us." He said placing his hand on Mehak's stomach. Taking a deep breath he looked at his phone. "Listen Mehak, I will be back in a bit. Just don't move from here! Promise me you won't budge from here and if something happens you will call me." He looked at her worried face. She had gone pale and weak from all the stress going on around them. He silently cursed Sevtlana for ruining their peace once again. "Kuch mat poochna bas yahan per mera intezaar karna, jaise hamesha se karti ayi ho." Pressing his lips against her forehead, he left making sure she was safe.
