Ella's POV
I paged through one of my favorite books until I got to my favorite part. Sighing in content, I read over Meghan and Puck's journey into the inbetween realm where Leanansidhe resided. I laughed when I remembered the first time I read over this part, how I was laughing and crying almost every time I turned the page.
All of the sudden, I felt as though I was being watched. I glanced around the old tree house before I rolled my eyes, feeling stupid. Nobody can see you in here, El. well.... unless.... I shook my head at the thought. No. I wasn't going to go there. A soft sigh sounded in my eyes and, after a few seconds, I realized it had been me. Shaking my head, I shut my old friend, gently slid it into my backpack, shouldered my pack, and pushed myself onto my feet. I pulled open the small trapdoor and dropped to the branch below, pulled the trapdoor rope to close it and dropped the last ten feet to the ground.
Slowly, I began walking without truly noticing my direction. I was thinking, mostly about Caleb and his pack. Yes, I knew about werewolves, though Caleb didn't know about that little tidbit. I had known since... well, that night. Everyone thought I was just a defenseless, weak, little human girl who was stupid enough to not figure anything out. In reality, if I hadn't seen what I had that night, I would've found out any day after that. people were constantly making references to the pack life. Alpha Caleb this and shifting that, border patrol here and rogues there. Even the biggest idiot would've figured it out the first week.
I finally noticed my feet had stopped moving and I looked up from my fidgeting hands... and I froze. Flinching, I stumbled back a few steps as a barrage of memories started pounding through my head. My rear hit the ground and my knees pulled themselves to my chest as I stared up blankly at the old cabin. Why did you come here, Ella? You're just torturing yourself with this now.
Shaking my head, I forced myself to my feet and turned my back on the sight. The woods seemed darker and I glanced at my cell phone's bright display for the time. I muttered a few swear words and began running back home in order to meet my curfew, all the while promising myself I would be back soon.
Blake's POV
I remained watching Mate for a few more minutes after my wolf and I had our slight nervous fallout. But as i began walking away from the tree i had been hiding in, i heard Ella leaving the tree house. Hiding behind a nearby bush, i decided i would watch and make sure she got home safe. i carefully and quietly followed. before too long, my ears picked up slight mutterings coming from her teasing lips, something about the pack and even an idiot would know they were werewolves.
My eyebrows were rockets and i was in such shock that i didnt know i had stopped until my wolf urged me to catch up to her.

I was confused. she was on the ground staring up at this old abandoned-looking cabin, obviously stuck in some sort of trance. This place means something to her, my wolf murmured quietly to me, I can't tell what but.... it's important. Really important... From the little I can see into her mind as her mate, I can tell you her mind is running faster than those weird metal contraptions you humans use.
I cautiously made my way into the small clearing until i was about ten feet away from her side and hesitated. Tears were streaming down her face. Her breathing picked up slightly as her mouth opened to allow better air flow. Suddenly, she bowed and shook her head and pulled herself to her feet again and pulled something out of her back pocket. Her eyes widened at the bright display and she swore. With that she began her journey away from the little cabin in the clearing.
My wolf tilted his head in curiousity. Why is she leaving this place? he questioned me. It must be later than we thought. We should probably be getting home too, I responded. Cmon. We'll see her in the morning.
A/N: I know. This is really friggin late and short and its kinda crappy but I had half an hour and decided you guys deserved it. I'm sorry for the wait guys....
