Chris' POV
I tried to keep up with my sisters, Felica and Melica. They were running ahead of me trying to teach my how to control my new powers. I was out of breath, but then again I am 5, "Wait up guys!" Felica stopped at the tree, while Melica stopped up ahead on a tree root. When I caught up to them, I stopped to take a breather, "Thanks for leaving me trailing behind." I looked at Melica and growled. She just looked at me with a smile, "Keep that anger pup. It can come in handy in the future when it will be needed." She looked ahead, "Felica, I think we have a bit of a problem." Felica walked up to her, "Good or bad?" Melcia scoffed, "The kind that does a jig! The only type of problem there can be for our kind. There are keepers talking to Elis, Alex, and Andy." Felica gave me a side glance that I caught, "Oh great. Just what we need. We are going to have to avoid them." All we then heard was a slight scream. All I thought was, 'Mom!' I ran towards the sound as my sisters followed me trying to stop me. I saw dad standing in between a man and mom. Mom was on the ground holding his bleeding arm and he had a mark on his face. The man looked at me, "Now who is this brat? A mix? Is he yours, Defiler?" Dad growled, "That is none of your buisness! Now why don't you go back to the whore and leave us alone!" He laughed, "Now your sister gave me a job to do. I am not leaving until I complete it." He got past dad and stood in front of mom, "And you can not do a damn thing about it, mutt lover." He picked mom up by the neck and dad grabbed his shoulder, "Damion, I don't believe you should do that." I snapped and blacked out.
Elis' POV
Damion crossed the line this time. I believe he found that out when Chris killed him. Chris now had me by the throat. The other tried to get him to let go. I kept on thinking that i was going to join my father today. Wherever he is. I felt the pressure being released on my neck, so I grabbed it. Chris was out cold. The other looked at me concerned because I was close to tears. I thought I was being punished by my father for not killing Lumine when I had the chance. I told looked at them, "I believe we should go home. If needed I will explain there." Alex rubbed my back as Rob carried Chris. We were making our way back when I saw something in the corner of my eye. It was her. The one that was spoke about. The one to end the world if she pleased. She can't be out yet. It is not possible. Unless....Lumine what did you do.
