Gem's hands fell from his arms and took a step back unconsciously. His mouth fell open a little and his eyes widened at the realization.

She was looking at the floor still baffled at the confession and his eyes were desparately watching her. Never in million times had she ever thought that Aries would actually have feelings for her in that way.

They always were great together. Great friends in their families, great partners in crime, great supporters in trouble but never anything romantic happened between them. It has always been warmth, honesty and acceptance between them.

They would choose each other with closed eyes, they would find each other in the darkness just by the bond they shared and they would die for each other if need be.

But gem always considered him as her guardian, her protector, her her best friend. A partner in everything but love.

Her mind was running wild, running miles a sec. She was not able to think straight. Not able to capture every single thread of her thoughts and put them together and decipher what she had to do. What did she actually want.

She couldn't think about him in that way. There was something that couldn't just allow her to accept him in that way. Not that he was someone you couldn't reply upon, infact he was a great guy but problem was that Gemini had always seen him through the eye of a friend, a best lifetime friend.

"Gem" his weak whisper hit her ears and a powerful tear rolled down her left eye in sorrow.

How could she reject this guy??

But how could she accept him??

She was clutched in the claws of indecisiveness. Or decisiveness but couldn't say it out loud to him.

She raised her head and looked at his blood shot eyes.

How could she deceive those eyes. How could she betray his heart beats.

But she never said anything like this to him which could produce a hope inside him then why?

He took a step closer covering that space again which gemini had created by taking a step back few minutes ago.

He held her hands in his and brought them to his heart making her look straight into his eyes.

She could hear his heartbeats that were screaming her name. She could feel the heat coming out of her eyes that were slowly crushing her soul into pieces. As much as she knew that he wants her, she knew that their is someone in her heart.

Someone had already stole her heart and had taken it's possession. She didn't know whom but she knew there is someone.

"Gem look, it's okay if you don't feel like that yet-" he started tightening his grip on her hands"but we can always wait, right! Maybe you will start to feel something for me too with the passage of time" his gaze locked hers firmly and for a moment she felt like she had lost all my power to think straight. To think at all.

"N-no ree"her words blew a massive explosion inside him. Gemini had moved her hands out of his and in the heat of the moment he didn't realize that he released her hands.
