At the moment ree was driving me to my house in Libby's car. He couldn't use his own car because leo, sag had to go back home in ree's car as they came to the party in ree's car.

Libby told us that she will go to sag's place and will stay overnight with him so aqua decided to come back home in our car late at night.

It was dead silence since we came out of party house. Only ree's heavy breathing and beats of my thumping heart could be heard well at least I could definitely hear the screams of my own heart.

I could practically feel ree's ears fuming and was surely able to see his nostrils flaring through he corner of my eyes.

Maybe he is mad at me for not searching for him in party house right away after reaching there or he was mad about the fact that I have injured myself and ruined this evening for both of us because of my stupidity.

I preferred to keep looking outside the window instead of breaking the dreadful silence. Ree didn't try to say anything to me too, not even sparing a glance towards my direction.

This happens rarely in ree's case. Although he stays mad at me 24/7 and we keep fighting over anything imaginable to fall in the category of fighting but ree doesn't get this type of mad.

Out of nowhere, car comes to halt snapping me out of my thoughts but one look outside, made me believe that we were actually outside my apartment already.

Silencing the engine, he opened the door and exited the car, me following behind.

We passed through the hall whose darkness was engulfing us and it seemed like this darkness was attracted to the darkness which was inside us right now.

He pushed the elevator button and within couple of minutes we were standing in front of my apartment door. Ree took my purse from my hand without locking our eyes and started jiggling the keys inside the lock.

We thankfully took Libby's car so now we had my purse and keys otherwise we would have been looking at each other with irritation spicing up already tense environment.

Lock clicked open and we hurried inside. I switched on the lights and took a huge sigh of relief feeling at home but my relief was short lived which quickly flew away when ree threw my purse on the glass table that was placed in front of couch with loud voice.

I flinched halting abruptly on my steps when ree turned to me and stood face to face looking straight in my eyes after what felt like hours.

I took a sharp breathe when ree's lips parted, ready to say something.

"What were you doing with that guy gemmy?" He asked putting his hands on his hips, not breaking the eye contact.

His voice was deadly calm but his Expressions were telling entirely different story.

"I-i w-which guy are you talking about?" I asked suddenly confused about whether he was talking about Scorpio or cap!

I felt his muscles tensed at my question which made me rethink about what I have just asked.

" Were you with other guys too at party?" He asked with narrowed eyes and I visibly gulped.

Oh crap he was asking about cap not about Scorpio. Obviously why would he ask about Scorpio when he didn't see us together.

God I'm so stupid!!!!

"No I was just stuck in that room for long time and didn't spend my time with any other guy." I spilt the beans before I could register what was spilling out of my mouth.

I quickly put a hand on my mouth realizing what I had done and he took a slow and cautious step closer to me removing the gap between us with each steps.

Man, I'm so dead now..

"Locked?"

"Ye-yeah locked-" I bit my tongue but finding him still looking deeply at me waiting for proper answer,I continued"-someone locked me I side the room and I got stuck in there until that cap dude came to rescue me from that hellhole."

I stated praying silently for him not to question about that particular someone.

" Why would someone lock you there?" He asked raising his hands up in the air to emphasize on his words.

"Well, by mistake I guess" I stated looking downward and I'm sure as hell he had caught my lie because he knows me so well.

He came closer to me and put his hands on my shoulders and made me look at him.

"Gemmy you know that you don't need to hide anything from me, right!-" He said and I nodded in response"- so now be a good girl and tell me what Happened there and who locked you in that fucking room?" His voice put on some speed this time when he said every single word while raising his index finger off one hand towards the opposite side gesturing towards that imaginary room back there in party house.

"Ree no one did nothing. Why are you behaving like this in the first place?" I asked suddenly annoyed by all the questioning.

He closed his eyes for a moment and took couple of breathe. When he opened them, his Expressions softened up a little bit.

"Gemmy, you.could.get.hurt!" He explained in low voice.

"Ree you need to understand that I'm not a kid anymore and I can handle these kinda situations myself, I don't need anyone's assistance or help" I bluntly told him and turned my gaze the other way.

"Why don't you just listen to me gem, for God's sake!!" His loud voice boomed in the appartment as he shouted loudly making my heart skip few beats right there making me suppose that I was not gonna gain the air back into the lungs anytime soon.

For a moment I could not say anything, while looking at him with wide eyes.

" For how many times do I have to tell you that you don't know guys these days are upto no good. I told you million times to stay away from God damn boys but no why would you listen to me huh? I'm you worst enemy whom you need to disobey and stay away as if you will get plague" his shouts died down and he turned away from me with his back towards me and started rubbing his forehead.

"Why do you care so much?" I don't know why this sentence slipped out of my mouth.

He stilled right there and turned to me.

"Gem, forget about everything I said, just keep in mind that from now on I want you to stay away from guys, okay" he said in a low voice and it seemed like he was lecturing a two years old kid about not wondering around in streets when it's dark outside.

"No, give me the answer ree" I asked as if I was in a trance.

"No forge-" I cut him off by taking a step closer to him this time and holding both of his arms making an eye contact with him having see of hundreds of questions flowing inside my eyes.

He took another deep breathe and cupped my cheeks in his large hands and i swear I noticed his eyes getting a little watery for a millisecond and his lower lip trembled helplessly for a mere second"Because I lov-i love you gemmy" he said in such a low voice that I almost missed it.

He said, his eyes never leaving mine in the process then he started searching my face for any possible sign of agreement and approval.

Oh my God..
