Jake smiled. "I have the cute dimple things! And I'm cute? Wait. I'm cute?! You think I'm cute?!?!" Jake got so happy. Andrew laughed and let his head fall into Jakes lap. "Yes. I think you're adorable." Andrew got back up, and saw Jake smiling widely. "So... Does this mean we're dating? Like... boyfriends?" Jake was obviously excited. "If you want us to be, then yes." Jake found both of Andrews hands and held them tightly. "So that means...kissing and hugging and holding hands for fun?!" Andrew laughed and rested his head on Jakes shoulder. "All of that, and we get to tell the world." Jake wrapped his arm around Andrews waist, and they just sat there. The atmosphere in the room shifted from a normal living room, to a happy moment in both of there lives.

They fell asleep.

Jakes parents come home a little early. While his dad goes upstairs, his mom sees them asleep on the couch. They shifted to where Jakes head is in Andrews lap. Their fingers slightly intertwined, but have fallen from them sleeping. She decided not to wake them, and called Andrews mom.

When they woke up, they were happy. Neither of them wanted to move. But, Andrew had to leave.

"Mom, I have to tell you something amazing!" Jake excitedly sat on a kitchen stool as his mom made breakfast. "Oh really? What is it?" She didn't turn around. "It's kind of  big deal, can you come here?" He reaches out his hand for her to sit in front of him. "... Okay.. " She takes his hand and sits in the empty stool in front if him. "What is it?" She asks, half distracted by the toast that just popped up. "Andrew and I are together. Like, as boyfriends." Jake perks up and smiles when he says this. And can not see his mother's face  go from normal to confused. "Uhh, so you're. You're dating a boy? A male? You're gay?!" She let's go of his hand and stands up. "Well.. If that's what that means, then yes. Are you happy for me? We kissed and everything! It's official!" He stood up. "No, nononoNO!  You can't be in love with a boy. It's impossible. Don't you see-" "No mom, I can't see I'm blind. And I think you are too. Blind to the fact that, I love him. Not because of how he looks, because of how he makes me feel. When you think of dad, you don't think 'a guy', you think of someone who makes you feel loved, and happy. That's what I think when I think of Andrew." His mom steps back in disbelief. "Jake, listen. You can not date him. It is unnatural, and wrong." "You know what else is wrong mom? Judging someone by how they look!" Jake leans forward and puts power into his voice. "Yeah, you told me that. You told me that judging someone by their appearance is wrong. I am not aloud to do that, all I can do is hear and feel someone. I hear someone who tells me I'm amazing. I feel someone who holds me close when we hug. Maybe I am blind, but I can see that he is a good person. Like it or not, I love him. And you cant change that." He finds the door, and storms out.
