Chapter 6

Kind of short, but I know that some of you guys will finally figure out what's coming to Night Vale!!

Chapter 6 

Dean left the Moonlite All Night Diner in a rage. He had just spent that last twenty minutes screaming at the waitress; he had ordered his pie, as usual, and the waitress returned with an empty plate. She had claimed that he had ordered invisible pie, and Dean retaliated by saying that there was no such thing as invisible anything. She had finally asked Dean to leave the diner, leaving his invisible pie still on the table. Dean was starring at his boots as he walked down the Night Vale street. He was kicking a small rock as he went along; it flew and landed on top of a bright yellow poster. Dean paused and picked up of the poster. The poster itself was simple, bright yellow with a S inside a circle, but there was something eerie about it. Whether it was the strangely bright color of it, too bright, it seemed, to belong in Night Vale, or just the simplicity of it. No matter what it was, it sent chills up Dean's spine. He glanced around, and noticed the same poster all over Night Vale. Without taking his eyes off the posters, Dean took out his cell phone.

"Man, are you seeing this?" Dean said once Sam picked up.

"Seeing what?" Sam sounded like he had his mouth full.

"Go outside." Dean could her Sam sigh, footsteps, and then a door opening.

"What the hell-?" Sam said. "What is that? What do they mean?"

"You know as much as I do," was Dean's reply.

"Dean," said a familiar and deep voice behind him. Cas. Dean wordlessly handed Cas the poster in his hand.

"Where did they all come from?" Sam said. Dean could a faint voice shouting from Sam's end of the phone, followed by two pairs of running feet. "Carlos!"

"Sam? Is everything okay over there?" Dean could hear Sam's heavy breathing and knew that his brother was running.

"Dean," Sam said trying to catch his breath. "Meet Carlos and I at the radio station." Dean could hear Sam end the call, and he singled to Cas before taking off for the radio station.
