Jade sat in her bed, staring at the wall. Tonight had been alright, she guessed. Liam was a gentleman and he was fit. The fact that he could sing was also rather nice. A slight smile played along Jade’s lips as she remembered listening to Liam sing softly as they made their way out to dinner.
The problem was, Jade hated when first dates were at restaurants. It was just awkward. Half of the time, someone would ask a question and the other person wouldn’t be able to respond instantly because they had food in their mouth. Instead, Jade had just nodded her head most of the time and motioned for Liam to wait for her to finish chewing every time he asked her a question.
The only advantage Jade found in dates at restaurants was that awkward silences could be filled by pretending to still be chewing. Jade had done that on multiple occasions earlier on the date. It wasn’t like her and Liam didn’t have anything to talk about, it just seemed like Liam was timid and Jade’s mind had been elsewhere during some portions of the date.
Jade knew she should just move on, and Liam was the perfect opportunity to do so. But instead, Jade had found herself thinking about Perrie a few too many times on the date. The image of Perrie’s face when she had heard Liam say date would probably be engraved in her memory for a very long time.
The second the word date had left Liam’s mouth, she remembered seeing Perrie’s eyes widen an insane amount. Next, the color instantly drained from Perrie’s face. Then, Perrie’s eyebrows knit together and she averted her gaze to the floor. Jade didn’t understand why Perrie had reacted like that. She was simply using Jade for sex just like she probably was three other people at the moment.
Another dilemma that night arose from the fact that Jade and Perrie hadn’t exactly finished what they were doing when Liam showed up. Jade hadn’t had the time to properly fix herself, so she was sitting in wet panties the whole night, which was just a constant reminder of Perrie’s lips and just how amazing Perrie was at making her feel good.
When Liam and Jade had gotten into the car, she had instantly moved in to kiss him. She had done it for two reasons. One: Liam would not stop rambling about something Jade had absolutely no interest in. He probably had talked about it for so long because instead of changing the topic, Jade had just continued to nod in agreement.
Two: Jade was still riled up from her earlier antics with Perrie. Jade just wanted some form of relief, and Liam was fit and wanted to be with her, so she figured she’d give it a shot. She was also hoping that the kiss would be so amazing that she would be able to get over Perrie right then and there.
Unfortunately for Jade, Liam was not as good of a kisser as Perrie. He didn’t really know where to put his hands and he didn’t really put any variation into the kiss. Jade kept forcing herself onto Liam in hope that he would suddenly become a miraculous kisser.
Jade had probably taken things too far when she tried to climb over the center console and onto Liam’s lap, because Liam pulled away while laughing nervously before saying something about how this was only the first date.
Jade really shouldn’t have, but she compared Liam even more to Perrie in that moment. All she could think was, Perrie wouldn’t have had any objections to taking things so far so quickly.
Sitting there on her bed now, Jade actually realized she had compared a lot of things about Liam to Perrie. She had noticed how Liam’s eyes were a nice brown color, but they weren’t as captivating as Perrie’s. She noticed how Liam’s laugh was more of a deep rumbling chuckle rather than Perrie’s high melodic laugh. She had realized she would rather want to make Perrie giggle than make Liam chuckle.
The worst part was that Jade actually felt somewhat guilty about the situation. For some strange reason, part of her felt as if she was cheating on Perrie. She realized it was insane considering the fact that Perrie had never had the balls to commit to her. Something just felt weird kissing someone besides Perrie.
