Gym was Jessie's least favourite class. He was a joke here more so than usual. He hated it. The guys were lean and fit and the girls had curves that were deemed attractive. Unlike Jessie.

"Hey!" Great now who's going to bother me.

He turned to see a group of boys walking towards him, pissed off looks plastered across their faces.

"You're the kid who hit our buddy Tyler. You messed up his face real good. Who knew someone with such baggy arms could hit so hard?"

Jessie sighed looking towards the floor. Of he was going to get beat up for hurting Tyler he wanted to just happen so he could move on.

"Stop looking like that. I'm not gonna hit you. But if you hurt my pal again I'll bust your head open, tubby." He said walking away.

Wow I got off easy.

He couldn't help but feel bad though. How hard had he thrown the deodorant? He needed to apologize.

We have lunch, gym, art, and trig together. He's not in gym so maybe the nurse? Can't hurt to check. If he's not I at least get to skip fucking gym.

Jessie slipped out through the locker rooms. Surely the teachers would be too distracted by the athletic kids to notice he was gone.

He peaked in and surely enough Tyler was slouched in a chair holding an ice pack to his face. He gestured for Tyler to come out. The fit boy mumbled something to the nurse before leaving to meet the other.

Jessie's back pressed against the hallway wall as Tyler loomed over him.

"What's wrong? Are my friends bothering you again? I'll handle them I'm so sorry I-"

"I'm sorry!"

"I what?" Tyler was  confused. Why was Jessie apologizing?

"Let me see your face. Your friends told me I got you pretty bad. And I wouldn't come to you for bullying anyway so shut up."

Tyler hesitantly moved the ice pack from his face for a clear shot to be seen. Jessie cringed at the sight. His eye was bruised and his nose was swollen and purple with a gash across the bridge.

"I'm sorry." Jessie said before pushing through him and trying to rush down the hall.

Ugh what is wrong with me? I'm just like my fucking dad.

Soft footsteps followed behind him.

"Jessie it's okay."

"It's not."

"I get worse in football."

"But that's your fault you choose to do that. This wasn't from a game this was my fault."

"It's. Fine." He said grabbing Jessie's shoulder and forcing him to stop.

Jessie breathed deeply before nodding.

"Fine. If you say it's okay then lets move on. You go your way I'll go mine." Jessie continued walking again.

Tyler smiled walking beside the chubby boy.

"Your way is my way." Tyler beamed.

"No." "Yes." "No." "Jessie yes." "Fucking no Tyler!"

"Mr.Willoughby, Mr. Caverly, care to explain why you're making such a ruckus in my halls?" Mr. Pines asked, tapping his foot. "Shouldn't you be in class?"

"Mr.Pi-" Jessie was cut off before he could explain.

"Since you seem to enjoy each others company so much why don't you enjoy it after school. Detention, both of you."

Jessie groaned and glared at Tyler.

"This is all your fault I hate you." He mumbled stomping down the hall to his class.

I should have never came to check if that idiot was okay.
