tomorrow's the day, the forced wedding. everything's getting ready, the venue, everything. except one specific person, of course it's donghyuck.

they were out with somi, her mother and his sister to get her the thing that mostly needed, her gown.

why would i even be here in the first place? donghyuck asks the same question himself everytime hours passes.

he never gave any hint of enthusiasm unlike somi does. but does those real either?

she's smiling but her eyes don't and whenever she sees jihyuck, the little girl glares at her because of a known reason. they both felt guilty but somi never even tried to stop this.

and after that long day, they've decided to go home since it's pass half seven in the evening.

for everyone's eyes, somi's clingy with donghyuck till they got inside donghyuck's car, somi let go of his arm and acted like they were strangers to each other.

he drove silently like always, never even tried to open his mouth to let out words to somi. and so did the girl.

since they are just the two inside that car, somi took his phone out and made herself busy with what she always do.

after dropping somi off her house, donghyuck decided to drive himself to wherever he could drink his self out.

---

"y/n? y/n please open the door."

he ended up banging outside your house in the middle of the night, crying and pleading for you to open the door.

"donghyuck please go away, you'd get nothing by doing these." you finally spoke up to the monitor on the door.

"no, y/n, i won't, i'll stay here not until you open this door, please, i miss you." he kept on pleading, hoping that it would help you open the door but not.

"i'm sorry hyuck, if that's what you want then stay in there, i can't do anything so please go away, i'll be sleeping."

you turned the small monitor off and started sliding down the door with your back and just sat there, hugging your knees, crying like before but this time, hearing his voice on the other side of the door.

he kept crying, talking like he is dying when he really do, inside.

"i'm sorry hyuck." you mumbled before standing up and walking to your room, making your way to your bed, curling yourself into ball and crying again, sobbing like there's no more tomorrow.

you left him.

but you somehow felt guilty for doing that. something's telling you to go back to him. it's not something, it's the other half of you, it's still fighting.

hours have already passed by, it's already midnight when you rushed down to open the small monitor on the door once again but to see no one.

not surprising because no one would even try to stay outside at midnight because it's too cold and that's why donghyuck had left. maybe.

you opened the door and looked around, he's not there anymore.

until you heard sobs right next the door as you looked down, he was still there.
