(ROMAN'S POV)

I watched as Stella cleaned up after dinner. She cleared the plates away and wiped down the table and counters. The dishes were easy since all she had to do was load them into the dishwasher. I knew she wasn't quite back to normal but for right now this is as good as it was gonna get. "I got the rest kiddo" Patton smiled as he entered the room.

"Patton" I whispered. He looked over and turned his head to the side. "This is the first thing she's done since she's got up from the coma. Let her do this."

"Roman she can't just hop right into the things she used to do, she'll overwork herself."

"If she doesn't do this she'll be sad" I argued.

"Roman I know you feel bad for what you did but what you can do now is make sure she stays safe while she heals" Patton smiled as he rested a hand on my shoulder.

I sighed before looking him in the eyes and giving him a defeated smile, "You've been hanging around Logan too much."

He beamed at those words because it made him feel like he was actually learning something. "Hey kiddo why don't you go rest" he smiled at Stella taking the cloth from her hands.

"Alright Pat. But knowing me I'm just gonna go find Virgil and talk to him to see what's going on in his head" she yawned, smiling at both of us before walking to the door that Virgil exited about two hours ago. Patton sighed as he looked around the kitchen. My eyes stayed glued on the door as Stella left, only she left as if everything was fine, as if nothing bad ever happened. She left as if, as if everything was peaceful. A giggle from Patton snapped me back to reality. I looked over at him as he looked to dishwasher. I soon smiled as I realized what he was laughing at. Stella had forgotten to actually start the thing. In between fits of giggles Patton managed to start the darn thing and finish up cleaning the kitchen. Even though we were having fun in here, my mind couldn't help but keep wandering to how Stella was doing with Virgil.

(VIRGIL'S POV)

I stood on the porch, a cold wind chilling me to the bone. I could tell the wind was starting to pick up but I didn't care, storms were great. They caused destruction just like everybody else does with my feelings. I heard the door open and shut but I still just stared out to the horizon. I didn't care who was coming up behind me. Damn, I didn't even care if it was Roman coming to get rid of me like he tried to do with Stella. "Verge?" I heard her sweet voice question. I wanted to relax. I wanted to just break down and cry into her arms but I knew that I couldn't. I knew that if I did then Roman would come back. "Virgil?" she questioned again, this time a hint of sadness in her voice. I couldn't even bring myself to look at her. I just scanned the sky, i don't know what for, I just didn't have the courage to look at her. "Virgil?" she asked once again, this time her voice barely above a whisper. I felt a hand rest on my left shoulder blade. I sighed as I brought my gaze down to look into her eyes. HER EYES! My eyes widened as I looked into the eyes of the person who was standing beside me. The person standing next to me was not my Stella. No, this person didn't have a smidgen of icey blue in the top outer corners of her irises. Nor did she have a ring of gold around her pupils.

Just act normal Virgil....you're just seeing things because you're tired. I shook my head as I tried to forget what I saw. Once I opened my eyes there stood Stella.....or the person who is acting like her.

"Virgil? Are you okay?" I didn't know if I should respond or if I should just ignore whoever stood in front of me.

"Yeah just... peachy" I sighed, looking away from her. Could this person tell that I didn't trust them or are they just as oblivious as Patton?

"Earth to Virgil" a chuckle came from in front of me. I looked back to her and sighed.

"I'm gonna go. I need to get some stuff done" I whispered, before vanishing heading back into the mind.
