 Chapter 7 - " The Mall"

(A/N: Long chapter ahead :D and important note at the end of chapter)

I arrived at Daniel’s house, I texted him and waited patiently at his front door. A moment passed and the front door was opened, revealing a woman with short blonde hair. I assumed it was Daniel’s mother because they looked the same in many ways. His ‘mother’ eyed me up and down and said, “Are you Josh?”

I snapped out of my thoughts and nodded. “If I ever see my son wearing a dress, I will contact your parents and report you. What you are doing is a sin, I want my son to do nothing with it. Got it?”, she snapped at me. My eyes were wide and I felt like crying, but instead I straighten up and said, “What I am doing is none of your business. If your son wants to wear a dress then let him be. Daniel and I are just friends and I have no intentions in changing him.”

Her mother looked angry and was about to say something but was interrupted with Daniel bumping into me while getting out of the door, which was where his mother was.

“Hi.”, greeted Daniel.

“Hi.”, I replied. We shared a smile and started walking away from the house. Daniel waved goodbye to his mother but she slammed the door. Daniel looked sad and kept looking forward. “Thanks for agreeing to come with me. I just needed some air and your company helps.”, said Daniel smiling a little. He still had a sad face, but he managed to smile.

“No problem Daniel. I also needed some air.”, I said truthfully. Mom didn’t discovered me but my heart was still running miles. Daniel inviting me to go out was the best way to take mind off things. “And Josh.. I heard what you said to my mother. I also wanted to thank you for that.”

I smiled sadly and kept walking by his side. We silently walked to the mall, it wasn’t an uncomfortable silence. And that’s something I liked about being with Daniel.

The mall was pretty big and it had all my favorite shops I regularly visited. If the mall has Hot Topic, then the mall is completed. Daniel and I decided to visit Hot Topic first. I didn’t brought any money so I planned on swimming through the aisles of Hot Topic and silently crying.

“Hey do you want something? I brought money.”, said Daniel as he watched me hug a Pikachu plushie. “No Daniel, you bought me food at the cafeteria. You’re not gonna keep spending money on me.”, I said placing back the Pikachu plushie. “It’s not wasting because I offered it you.”

“What does that even mea- You know what, fine. I will grab something but just one.”, I said and Daniel nodded. We went to the back of the store and reached the shirts ailes. They were mostly band shirts and I spotted few of my favorite bands. I decided to take the Panic! At The Disco shirt and went back to Daniel, he was staring at the candies. He saw me and quickly grabbed a bunch of candies.

"Are you done?", asked Daniel. I nodded and we made our way to the cash register. Daniel paid for our things and we got out of the store. We visited multiple stores, we didn't bought anything but it was fun. We got to eat the candy that Daniel bought and I got to wear the Panic! At The Disco shirt.

And when things were going okay, the idiots from school spotted us and made their way towars us. Fuck, I thought when I saw Erick with a smirk on his face. He somehow looked more muscular than before, maybe it was because of his super tight shirt.
