Chapter 1 - "Call Me Josh"
Have you ever wondered why people judge so much? It's been such a mystery to me and many others. Being judged is indeed the worst feeling, but even so, they do it too. I wonder why. Guess I'll never know.
"Jenna, can you stop daydreaming and help me move these boxes?", said my brother Kendall. I cringed at my name, so I just glared at him. Kendall raised his arms, "Sorry, Josh." I smiled at him and got up from the couch and went to help him. Kendall doesn't know about me wanting to transitioning or anything, nut he sure does know that I hate when people call me Jenna. To be honest, I don't plan on telling my family. Once I become 18 years old, I'll leave this house and do all the changes that my heart desires.
"Hey Kendall", I called to my brother and he looked up at me while trying to lift a box. "If you were an adult, what would you do with your body? As in, would you get a tattoo? Piercings?" I stopped for a moment and asked in a lower tone, "Surgery?". My brother thought about it, "Well, I'll perhaps get a tattoo. You know how much I love them so yeah. I'll have a dragon on my arms to make the chicks fall for me." He smirked and I tried not to laugh. "You are such a loser Ken." He stuck his tongue out like a 5 year old would do and went inside the house to put down the heavy box. Once he was gone, I sighed loudly.
Today is gonna be a long day.
~
So basically what we did today was place the boxes in our home and kinda give some life to the house adding frames and such. This is the first time I live in a house with 2 floors, so I had to take the stairs in order to get to my new room. I opened the room and sweetness hit my face, the room had beautiful blue walls, a small but comfortable bed and a window with an amazing view. Whenever we had to move, I would always get all sad because of all the memories we shared and all the friends I made there. But now, seeing this, I'm constantly repeating to myself This is worth it. The place is big and amazing. A few decorations here and there and I will fully love the place.
While I decorated my room with band posters and such, I heard my mom calling for me. The place is big but everything could be heard. I stopped whatever I was doing and went to the kitchen. There was my mom smiling happily with a plate of chicken, I assume that she also likes the place. Maybe even more than me. "Josh, dinner's ready. Go take a sit with the rest of the monkeys." Mom said and stuck her tongue out just like Kendall did before. What is it with my family and sticking out tongues? I grinned and went to the dinning room. There was Kendall sitting next to Andrew, my little brother, and once they saw me, they threw a bean at me. "OMG ew NO! What the hell guys?" They know how much I hate beans, so they do whatever they can to piss me off. But the day was so good that I simply couldn't be mad. I'll get my revenge later.
Kendall smirked evilly and acted like a total angel when mom came in with a plate with mashed potatoes. "Smells great, mom.", said Kendall. He is such a dildo. "Well thanks baby. You know, I have the feeling that I made the right decision by moving here. Everything seems so fine and perfect for all of you. Kendall can now practice the guitar, Andrew can get to know more people and Jenn- I mean Josh can take those sewing lessons." Everyone smiled at her, understanding what she meant. I've always wanted to start my own business in selling my own dresses. In other words, a boutique. And the school I'll be attending has these classes that you choose that you want to study later in college. It's like some sort of pre-college. I've heard it was an amazing school, so I can't wait to start!
We began to eat and I just couldn't stop smiling. New house, new school and perhaps friends. What could possibly go wrong?
