Y/N had just left for her meet up. Liam is talking to Shelby.
Shelby: so... you're staying with Y/N?
Liam: well yeah
Shelby: are you sure that's a good idea?
Liam: yeah, why?
Shelby: Liam you know that you can't date her
Liam: what? Yeah I know!
Shelby: maybe if she wasn't in a relationship, but I just don't want you to get your feelings hurt
Liam: ... I just want her happy. And if this guy makes her happy and she's willing to try this long distance relationship. All I can do is be her friend and support her. And honestly. I'm ok with that
Shelby: (smiles) I'm glad to hear... to tell you the truth Liam. I do think you would both be good together. I mean I've never seen two people have so much in common. But she seems happy with this guy.
Liam: ... well thanks Shelby. And I know. I just... I just wish that I had a chance
Shelby: who knows maybe some day you will
Parker walks in
Parker: hey guys
Liam: hey man
Parker: (puts arm around Shelby) so what this I hear about you liking Y/N?
Liam: you told him?!
Shelby: well he is your best friend! And besides it's not like he's going to tell anyone
Parker: dude why didn't you just tell me
Liam: because there's no point. It's not like I can go up to her and say I like her. She's not the type of person to just leave a person because someone else like her. And why would she? I don't even know if she would feel the same
Parker: Liam just tell her
Liam: what?
Shelby: what?! Are you insane?!
Parker: Liam, if you want to move on. It would be easier if you told her. If she doesn't feel the same. You know you tried and that she isn't the one
Shelby: ... that does kinda make sense... but still
Liam: ... the thing is... I'm too anxious
Shelby: Liam we don't blame you... it is difficult. Plus we know you've been through a lot lately. I still think you shouldn't but if you want to tell her I won't stop you
Graser and Will come up to them all
Graser: ooo is Liam finally going to confess to Y/N?
Liam: who told you I like her?!
Will: liam, it's obvious
Liam: it is?!
Parker: yeah, Shelby just kind of confirmed it to me
Will: we all saw how you both looked at each other at the panel. Plus you were both hugging for a while
Graser: just make the mooovvves
Shelby: there's something wrong with you guys. The more I think about this, I just see Liam getting hurt. I feel like it would help. But it's too soon since-
Graser: yeah but look how cute they would be together
Shelby: she's seeing someone Graser!
Graser: soo he's not here. Liam is. Long distance relationships almost never work
Shelby: del and Dylan's did!
Graser: yeah but that's different!
Shelby: how on earth is it different?!
Liam: guys! Stop! It's my decision! Not yours! ... I'm going to tell her...
Shelby: what?
All: what?
Liam: Shelby, you're right I could get hurt. But the more I hold back from it. The more it's going to hurt me seeing her with someone else. At least she'll know and we can both learn to cope with it
Will: so what if she does like you back? She's seeing someone dude
Liam: well I'm not going to end her relationship. She should be with him. But at least I know
Parker: go get her Liam
Liam rushes out of the building looking for Y/N at her meet up point. He sees her and rushes over. And that's where everything goes down hill. The ending of the last chapter happens again.
