Y/N's Past Inncident - Chapter 27

Everyone is sitting down talking on the towel and having a laugh

Dad: yeah when Y/N was in high school and college she would constantly watch videos online. Once she started university she cut down on watching video and focused more on her work and making her own! I'm just glad that she's made it this far and was able to live her dream of moving here
Y/N: aww thanks Dad. If you weren't there to support me though, I would still be at home living under your roof
Dad: I find that hard to believe
Shelby: you are both really close, huh?
Y/N: well yeah!
Parker: that's really sweet
Shelby: hey Y/N? Want to go in sea to cool off a bit?
Y/N: sure! Do you even have a costume?
Shelby: yeah it's under my clothes
Y/N: sweet, same here

Y/N and Shelby take off their clothes so it's just their bikinis. Liam sees Y/N's and starts to blush (can change colour or the bikini if you want)

Liam POV
That bikini looks so nice on her. I can feel my cheeks getting redder. She is so beautiful. She could wear trash bag and still look stunning

Shelby and Y/N leave to the water and run in. Liam, Parker and D/N laugh at them squealing at how cold it is

Parker: I didn't think Y/N would like the beach. She doesn't seem to be that kind of person to relax by the sea
Dad: well she isn't that much of a person. But when she was growing up we would go to my cousins. They lived by the beach and she would go body boarding all the time we were there. She loved it
Liam: she did body boarding?
Dad: yeah! She was really good at it. A lot better then I am. She even entered competitions and won majority of them
Liam: why doesn't she do it anymore?
Dad: ... she... she is too scared
Liam: why?
Dad: It isn't really my place to say... but you both should know... when she was about 13 we went out and she was alone. No one else was around... she didn't realise how far she had gone out... one thing lead to another and... a wave came tumbling on her... seaweed got caught around her neck and well... she nearly... drowned... the life guards barely got too her in time... she's been scared ever since...

They all look at Y/N splashing around with Shelby. They are having a great time.

Liam: I-I had no idea
Dad: ... I don't blame her... I would be scared too
Liam: but she was only young then... surely she has more strength now and is more sure of her surroundings. I bet she could do it... obviously when her arm is better
Dad: I don't think you'll convince her... I tired too... but it really has scarred her... maybe for life
Liam: ... but she loved doing it... she shouldn't give up on it... she never gave up on her dreams to move here... she's even got the confidence to show her face to the world
Dad: either way. There's no point trying to convince her now if she is unable to do it with her arm
Liam: yeah... you're right...

Shelby and Y/N head back to the guys.

Y/N: hey! You doing ok? You all seem a bit... down?
Liam: we are fine... how was the water?
Shelby: great! I think Y/N really needed to cool off from the heat. Can't have he dehydrate aga-
Dad: huh?
Y/N: nothing! I just didn't pack enough water one day and I um... I uh just got too want so I went back to get some more haha (laughs uncomfortably)
Dad: I see? Well we should probably get some lunch. Do you girls want to go dry off, and we will meet you somewhere?
Shelby: sounds good!
Liam: there's a nice seafood restaurant just 5 minutes away from here
Dad: do you have fish and chips? Haha
Y/N: haha me and my dad would always have fish and chips on a Friday
Liam: that's a British thing right?
Y/N: (chuckles) yep, ok me and Shelby will meet you there later
Parker: ok we will save you both a seat
Y/N: thanks

Shelby and Y/N go dry off at the beach locker rooms. And Liam, Parker and D/N head to the restaurant
