"And there!" Bubbles exclaimed as she added on the final touches to her change from work clothes and her hair. She gave herself one final look letting a smile appear across her lips before getting her purse and setting it in the living room. Phil finally had the balls to ask her out after their last case. Despite him being her boss she had been in love with him ever since she first met him when he interviewed her to be his secretary when he started more into the private investigator work. He was still with his now ex Jenny at the time but it didn't stop her from having feelings towards him. Phil had always been just so sweet and good to her whilst still being her boss. He always was there for Bubbles whenever she had needed relationship advice on guys and when she had a breakup he was her shoulder to cry on.She was even there for Phil when Jenny had dumped him. She had never seen Phil ever cry shedding tears it was very ugly almost Kardashian like but actually was out of hurt and loss. Sure nothing good came out of Phil that day but one things for sure that it brought them even closer together.

"Knock Knock sugar!" Phil said boldly as pounded his fist on Bubbles door interrupting her thoughts.

"Phil!" Bubbles said excitedly as she opened the door and raced to hug him and kiss him.

"Hey!" Phil said hugging back then pulled away to get a look at her. Bubbles wasn't in her usual work getup instead had her hair straightened and sported some red heels and a sparkly matching clubbing dress.
"Turn around for me dear I wanna get a good look at ya" he said as Bubbles did a 360 turn so he could get a full view.

"Mmmm Gorgeous Baby!" He said as he whistled as Bubbles laughed and blushed.

"So what do you have planned Mr. Phillips?" Bubbles asked as she took his arm and he escorted her to his car.

"Babe it's non working hours you don't need to call me that tonight you just call me Phil." Phil said quirking his brow and playfully bopping her nose as he got in the drivers seat. 

"Well alright then what do we have planned for tonight Phil?" Bubbles asked

"We just gonna wind down and have some dinner and drinks together. Sound good?"

"Sure!"

They soon arrived at one of Los Angeles fanciest restaurants and bars Cicida.

"Oh my god Phil how did you..that'll cost you a fortune?" Bubbles gasped shocked.

"Honey my brother was a tv star it's so easy to get in plus all his inheritance money. He would want us to have a good time" Phil said smiling.They took their seats together,ordered food and enjoyed a good time having some of the finest wine.

"God I never felt so happy in my life right now,Bubbles not like any joy I had before this is the happiest I've ever been!" Phil said as he took her hand as they sat in his car again in a parking lot watching the sunset.

"Me too Phil me too" Bubbles said as she shifted the coat on her shoulders that Phil had placed on her seeing her cold.

"So you having fun?" Phil asked

"More then I've ever had with any of my Tinder Or No Strings dates" Bubbles said as Phil laughed

"Oh shit babe don't even get me started on that app all I ever got was horny teens whom I tried to explain that they're too young to be even on it once I said I was a cop they immediately blocked me" Phil said laughing

"Right?! Like all I ever got was guys that wanted to hook up and too many unwanted dick pictures" Bubbles said "I always got so uncomfortable whenever I went out with a guy for a date but I don't feel that way when I'm with you"

"Aw well do I look like the kind of fucking asshole that just wants pussy?"

"That's what I mean you're not like that at all I feel safe and sound when I'm by your side" Bubbles took his arm and Leaned against his shoulder. Phil smiled pushing her hair out of her face as she gazed up at him.

"Hey so uh you know I been in love with you the moment we first met and I hired you to work with me."

"Me too. Like even when you were still with Jenny?"

"Honestly yeah it just didn't cross my mind at all cuz I thought for sure I loved Jenny but like I had said I feel so much happier being with you. So uh Bubbles I'd like to offer you a job promotion.."

"And what is that?"

"I wanna promote you from being just my secretary to also my girlfriend" Phil said. Bubbles hands went over her mouth as she started crying.

"Oh no oh fuck did I just make things more awkward?" Phil said

"No they're happy tears. Tears of joy because I feel exactly the same way" Bubbles said as she held his hands.

"So what do you say?" Phil said smirking.

"I think I wanna take that promotion! Yes Phil a thousand times yes! I will be your girlfriend!" Bubbles squealed hugging him

"Y-you will? You mean it?!" Phil said hugging back.

"I do why would I even say yes to this date I knew you wanted to ask me to go steady. Who asks their secretary to go on a date to a fancy restaurant just for fun now?" Bubbles said laughing

"True enough ooh man Bubbles I have fallen for you girl" Phil said their faces leaning in so close that his forehead and nose touched hers.

"And I for you Phil.." Bubbles got cut off by Phil's lips kissing hers. She felt herself naturally just close her eyes and let him cradle her face in his hands while they smooched for a couple minutes as the sun went down and moonlight shone over their faces.

"Well then guess that means I can call you my girlfriend" Phil said after they broke the kiss.

"Yes I guess it does I think we need to document this our first night as a couple together" Bubbles pulled out her iPhone and opened she camera as they leaned their heads in together as Bubbles snapped a bunch of selfies. Phil leaned in to kiss her again for another as she smiled really big.

"I think we got at least a couple good ones in there" Phil said arm around her

"I think so too" Bubbles said cuddled up to him. "So I'm still gonna be secretary too right?" She asked

"Of course last I checked I didn't pull a Donald Trump and say that your fired. Just cuz you're also now my girlfriend doesn't mean you have to quit darling" Phil said

Bubbles chuckled at the response. "Oh I figured I was just making sure of that"

"Hey? I love you!" Phil said holding her waist

"Aww Phil I love you too" They went in and kissed once again with a bit more passion involved. It finally the beginning of a new chapter for both of them.
