"Francie, Francie, Francis!" Arthur booped Francis' nose.

He had Francis wrapped in a blanket, sitting on his lap.

Francis buried his nose in the blanket and looked at Arthur with big, sad, eyes.

Arthur placed a hand on Francis' cheek and pulled him closer. "Oh, Francis.... You're okay...."

Francis sniffled and hid his face in Arthur's chest.

Arthur wasn't exactly sure why Francis was sad, but he did know it had something to do with the Frenchman remembering certain things. So Arthur was trying to cheer him up and help him.

"Art...." Francis looked up at Arthur with his big blue eyes and the Englishman felt his heart shatter.

"Goodness, Francis.... I'm so sorry...." Arthur gently rubbed circles on Francis' back.

Francis grabbed Arthur's head and pulled his face into his neck.

Arthur sighed softly and nuzzled Francis' neck. "Everything is going to be fine, love...."

Arthur had to leave Francis alone and go to the bathroom. When he came back, the Frenchman was sobbing. He quickly collected Francis' toy frog and sheep stuffed animal before sitting down next to Francis. Arthur handed the toy frog to Francis, who promptly threw it across the room.

"Geez! Francis!" Arthur offered him the sheep but he pushed it away.

     "No!"

Arthur wrapped his arms around the Frenchman.

Francis immediately started screaming and lashing out. "Noooo! No! No! No! No!"

Arthur pulled Francis into his lap and endured the painful blows from his fists and feet. He tried to shove his face into Francis' neck and the Frenchman let out an especially loud shriek.

Francis started trying to push Arthur's head away, but the bushy-browed man kept trying to put his face in his neck.

"No! No! No! Nooooo! Noooo! No! No!"

     "Francis~...." Arthur cooed.

     Francis became completely still.

"There you go, my Frenchie~...." He put his face in Francis' neck and the Frenchman went limp in his arms.

     "No... no... no...."

     "You're alright."

     "No...."

Arthur gently squeezed Francis before slowly taking his face out of his neck. He stood up with Francis, went to his room, laid down on his bed, and buried his face back into Francis' neck.

     "Nooo..." Francis' whimpered.

     "Everything is fine."

     "No... no... go way...."

"You know I can't do that, Francis...."

     "Go way!"

     "Nope."

     "Go way! Stahp! No!"

     "Shush."

Francis huffed quietly in defeat. "Sheep."

     "Frog."

     "Hate you."

     "I know."
