Well, that’s it for now! Remember these things and you’ll be in good shape. These are the things that I would tell myself if I could go back in time and talk to myself before I started writing Dawn of the Epoch.
(1) do multiple outlines going from broad to narrow
(2) don’t start a chapter without outlining it first
(3) use character templates
(4) Back up your work constantly or use Dropbox (or something similar, I am sure that there are other good cloud storage programs out there)
(5) Don’t say “The sorcerer was stabbed by the knight.” Instead, say, “The knight stabbed the sorcerer.” In other words, do NOT use passive tense when you could have used active tense.
(6) Never stop trying!
