Sluggishly opening the door to my last class, I heaved a heavy sigh. Glancing at the variety of people in the class, I looked for the boy with braces and dimples. I looked up and saw Jeongin waving at me, his green braces peeking through.

Looks like he had a nice morning.

I huffed my cheeks and walked towards his row, thrashing my bag on the desk, making him flinch.

"What's wrong?" he cooed.

"She's asking me to redo the presentation for the 3rd time. Jeongin, I'm tired." I muttered, sitting next to him.

"Aww, that project? I finished that last week."

"But I can help you if you want me to .." he ambled.

His comment made my ears perk up, shifting slightly to face him, I cracked a small smile. God, he could be such a lifesaver sometimes. He returned the favor, before looking back at the professor's powerpoint.

Folding my arms on the flat surface, I opted to nap throughout the whole period. I could just ask Jeongin for notes later. Drifting off after some time, I felt at peace.

The harsh pinching of my cheeks woke me up from my short slumber, my head shooting up immediately. Glaring at the crude intruder, it was only Jeongin, a sheepish smile decorating his pale face. He already cleaned his station, only the two of us left in the lecture hall.

"Let's go~ I'm starving." he tapped his sneakers on the marble tiles, producing a high squeak.

Quickly throwing my pens and stationeries into my backpack, I slid it into my worn out backpack. He intertwined our fingers, a habit he had since we were kids. It never failed to startle me though. It made me wonder at times too, does it mean anything to him?

Walking outside of the school gates, we made our way to the closest cafe in the university.

"Yah! Jeongin! Where's my banana milk man?" Minho flocked over in front of us, causing both of us to stop in an immediate halt.

Oh, it's our senior, Minho. The guy is the most extroverted person I've probably ever met, making it hard for me to converse with him.

"Aish, if you weren't my hyung I probably would've smacked you right now." He whispered, scrunching his nose.

"Oh wait, who's that?" The older flicked his gaze towards me, making weird finger gestures.

"She's y/n, my girlfriend." he said.

Minho had a suggestive look on his face, whilst I had a bewildered facade. Did he just- what did he say, what? I nudged him, he just shrugged at me in response.

"Oh, welp. Gotta go, wouldn't want to crash your date kid." he bid good bye as he sprinted off to his clique, pulling a thumbs up before dissapearing.

"What was that for?" I asked, poking him slightly.

"Hehe, you like it though." he cheekily smiled, his dimples prominent.

My cheeks flushed at his blunt comment. Was I really that easy to read? I hate being an open book.

I scratched the sleeves of my hoodie, feeling anxious. I just laughed, poking him again to ease the tension.

The remainder of the trip was quiet, it was awkward silence though.

The chiming of the door bell signalled that there were new customers, the baristas clicking their heads towards the entrance, flashing a quick smile before going back to the work they had beforehand.

Jeongin offered to order drinks for the both of us while I tried to find some seats in the area. I situated myself on top of the soft cushions, my mind in trance.

Did he mean it?

My train of thought stopped when a thud echoed on top of our shared table.

He placed two lattes in front of us along with a cute chocolate torté. One had a fluffy cat on it, the other sporting a frothy bunny. I cooed at its cuteness.

Jeongin made him self comfortable, swatting away on some dust on his seat. I eyed him skeptically, after his blunt statement, I was left confused overthinking scenarios in my head, debating whether I should confront him or not. Choosing to be brave for once, I initiated a conversation.

"Jeongin?"

"Yeah?" he said, putting down his cup of coffee.

"Well, a-about earlier. Can you be honest with me?" his eyes focused at me, nodding in response.

"Do you like me? B-because if you do then- I mean wait no, I-."

My head was spinning in anxiety and embarassment, taking a sharp intake of breath, I continued.

"I like you is what I wanted to say .." I finished, looking down at my deflating cloud of milk.

His face contorted into a look of excitement and perplexity. That smile of his, gleaming brighter than ever. He engulfed me in a tight hug, calming my nerves.

"I-i like you too! Holy shit, I love you so much Y/n, you don't even know." he blabbered, nuzzling his head in the crook of my neck.

"Jeongin, language! Chan will kill me if he hears you!" I laughed, enjoying the warmth he was radiating.

A loud bang on the window broke off our hug. A smirking Minho was making finger hearts, mouthing out inaudible phrases. Jeongin creased his forehead in annoyance, while I tried to make out what he was saying.

'The guys are going to know about this' Minho chanted, showing me a candid picture of both Jeongin and I.
