With the release of the Levanter album and the other controversies that have been flying around, Jisung and I never got the time to spend time together, face to face. It's always been facetimes, routinely messages and calls. Sure it was relieving to talk to him, but just the sensation of being able to hug him or laugh and breathe the same air with him was different.
The boys finally got some free time and they invited me over to the dorm. That's why I was currently struggling to carry plastic bags of grocery, well mostly junk food for the boys to munch on.
"What do you mean you can't come down? Jesus, Jisung! I haven't seen you in forever and now you care about your track more than me?" I replied, getting frustrated over Jisung's answers.
The weather wasn't really helping either. The cold was nipping at my skin harshly which amplified the irritation that was bubbling up in my chest. The audacity of Jisung to leave ne hanging. Fucking hell, it's been months since I've last seen or even smelt his presence and he pulls this card on me. The fact that I was struggling to hold the groceries wasn't helping either.
I heard a high pitched scream from the lobby entrance, and sure enough there was a grinning Felix that was fast approaching, he brought Chan with him. Poor child. Chan approached me and offered to carry the bags to their apartment. I gladly obliged because my fingers were seconds apart from turning blueberry blue.
"Hey y/n! How have you been?" Chan sparked up a conversation, pressing the buttons on the lift.
"Nothing special, probably busy and, hm, I don't know really." I said truthfully, the frustration still swimming in my gut.
"Well, frankly, it looks like something's been bothering you." He piped up.
I looked at him in awe, Chan really does see through people. I nodded at his confession, "Yeah, hm, it's just Jisung." I muttered and then rallied to him about the situation.
Chan's eyes softened, and I swear he understood me flawlessly. "Well, to be honest, that's not something Jisung would do. He's been blabbering for days about you. Well, don't tell him I told you that." Chan chuckled.
I just nodded again at his conclusion, not in the mood to start another conversation. Ugh, it's like I've been void of any energy to even socialize because of Jisung's childish antics. I should understand him, work before everything. But it hurts not being his priority for once. What am I thinking, I'm just his girlfriend. He's an idol for God's sake.
We got out of elevator and stalked over to their room. Before tapping the key card, Chan whispered to me, "Make up with him, okay?"
He twisted the knob, and to be honest, the dorm was cleaner than Jeongin's vocabulary. It's like an unbelievable miracle occured while I was gone. I shuffled inside and was immediately greeted by Changbin.
"YOOOOoOoO, FOOD" he chanted. The boys quickly crowded around the kitchen island, snatching their share of 'free' food. I immediately caught sight of Jisung and he looked ... Normal.
Was my outburst nothing to him? He slid an arm around my shoulder, then attempted to kiss my cheek. I dodged his now failed attempt to approach me, shaking off his arm. I sauntered off to the living room to play Tekken with Seungmin. I sat down on the brown couch and grabbed the controller on the coffee table.
"Jisung's such an ass." I whispered to Seungmin, selecting Asuka as my main character.
"Huh, what did he do?" He asked, his mouth full of crisp salty potato chips.
"I feel like I'm shallow but he didn't even think to fetch me at the lobby, while to think we haven't seen each other in months." I pouted, blabbering to him about my situation.
