Cristina's pov

I got into Valts room to wake him up, I wanted to show him somthing but when I open the door to his room he's nowhere to be found, I decided to check the dining hall but he wasn't their either, suddenly I bump into Rantaro.

"Opps, sorry Honcho" I apologize as I help him up. 

" No problem, hey have you seen Valt?" he asks me.

"no, I checked his room and the dining hall but he wasn't their, tell me if you find him okay?"

"k" he says as he walks away.

I decide to check outside, as I walk around, I see a deer walk out from the woods with someone on its back, Valt.

"Valt!" I rush over to walk to see him sleeping soundly on the deer in his pajamas, what was weird is that he had his gloves on, I shake him gently and his eyes slowly flutter open.

"Morning*yawn* Chris" he says as he rubs his eyes and sits up, just realizing he's on a deer.

"uhhh why was I sleeping on a deer?" he asks as he jumps off.

"you tell me, anyways I want to bring you somewhere but first maybe you should change your cloths." I point to his pajamas s his face suddenly turns bright red.

"hehehehe uh okay" he says as he runs inside, I giggle slightly as  I get Raul to drive us their.

Valts pov

Raul was driving me a Chris through some desert looking place, we drove for a while till we reached a cliff, Chris motioned me to get out with her, once we were all out I heard someone scream, I look over the cliff to see Free pulling a giant rock , screaming in pain as he does it.

"Whats he doing?!" I asked Shocked.

"Free's pushing himself so he can stronger, the competition is constantly getting harder and he feels threatened so he has to go back to his old self in order to stay at the top." she tells me.

I look at him confused and accidently leaned over a bit to much, next thing I knew im free falling off the cliff (get it, Free falling, huh? huh? okay ill stop, back to falling)

"AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH" I scream as I finally make it to the bottom and accidently knocked down Free.

"sorry" I say embarrassed as he looks at me and smiles slightly.

"Its fine" he says as he gets up, we talk about the competition and then finally he goes back to his rock. "Hey, wanna do this together?" he asks me.

"I'm in." I say in my fake overly excited voice he looks at me confused but then hides it as I go next too him and we start pulling the rock.

Free's pov

I look at him confused, ever since Valt found out Red eye is Shu he seems off but only I noticed it, he comes next to me and we pull the rock together , we did this for a while when he suddenly trips and falls to the ground, his body warmer coat thing somehow came off him when he fell.

"you okay" I ask him as I help him up.

"Yup" he says cheerfully and picked up his coat thing and looked in its pocket, his face suddenly turns from cheerful to fear as he looks on the ground for somthing, I spot somthing shining on the ground and pick it before Valt my face turns from confused to shock as I realize what it is...a razor, Valt turns into a stuttering mess.

"I-I can explain" He says with fear in his eyes, I look at his gloves, grab his hand and take them off before he can react, I start to cry at the scars I see on his hands, he breaks out of my grasp and quickly puts his glove on, he then starts to cry.

"w-why?" I ask shocked, he dosent answer and cries harder, I start to hug him and try to comfort him as he cries on my chest, we stay like this for a while when he finally speaks.

"please dont tell" he say quietly.

"Dont worry I wont If you promise to stop." I say quietly back.

"I-Ive tried but its hard."

"Then ill help you through it." I tell him, he hugs me tightly and I start to hug back, after a few minutes I fear soft snoring, I look to see Valt fast asleep leaning on me, I pick him up and bury the razor under a rock, once I reach the top of the cliff I see Chris and Raul waiting for us.

"You guys were down their a long time, what happened?" She asks.

"He fell asleep when we went on a break" I lie to them.

"okay well c'mon lets go back, its getting late." she says as I get in once were arrive back, I place Valt in his bed."I promise I will help you through this Valt"
