No ones pov
Ever since Free found out Valt's secret he was very over protective towards him, he was always at Valt's side and if Valt was gone for more than 10 minutes he would go look for him, slightly panicked, Valt was honestly glad Free was always with him and every day he would start smiling more and more, not fake smiles but real ones, today Valt and Free were training in the woods.
"I win" Free said as he burst Valtryek.
"awwwwwwwwww" Valt said as he picked up Valtryek, and went and lied down on the soft grass as he watched the clouds go by , Free joined him.
"Well that was fun" Free says .
"Yeah super fun!" he says actually excited for the first time in a long time, then frowned, Free noticed.
"You okay, Valt?" Free asks concerned, Valt sat up and leaned against a rock, they stay in silence for a while then Valt answers.
"I'm getting Shu back." Valt says dead serious.
"what?" Free says confused "Valt, I know you miss the Shu you knew but, he's gone."
"No, thats not Shu, it cant be, I dont belive it, before you found out, I kinda, maybe, sooorrrtaa havebeenstalkingshu" Valt says quickly.
"What you know thats illegal right?" Free says.
"hehehehe dont tell, anyways when he's not battling he's at the top of this mountain looking down from the edge which is where im gonna confront him tommorow " he says."And im going their alone please"
"okay but just be careful" Free says "And no matter what he says, know ill always have your back"
"Thanks Free" Valt says as he hugs Free, once they break the hug, they walk back to the hotel, silently chatting along the way.
