Valt' s Depression (A Beyblade Burst Fanfiction)

Valt' s pov

I made my way up to the stadium where I saw my former best friend waiting for me, I could see the hatred and anger in his eyes which makes want to cry but I keep it in, I miraculously make a smile appear on my face despite being so hurt.

"This battle is gonna be epic am I right?" I say to sh-Red eye.

"Im going to rip your bey to pieces!" he yells, I flinch at his words and get into position.

"3!"

"2!"

"1!"

"let it rip!"

Both beys are launched into the stadium, clashing spirits appear as the beys attack with no mercy, suddenly one bey gets launched of the stadium :spryzen.

"Strike Valtryek with a ring out finish , one point!" The ref says as the crowd cheers.

"we did it!" I yell excitedly as red eye says nothing.

"2nd match"

"3!" 

"2!" 

"1!"

"Let it rip!" we yell as our beys are launched into the stadium, spryzen is going faster than before and launches valtryek into the sky and just as its about to crash back into the stadium, spryzen goes under it and bursts it, breaking the tip in the process.

"spryzen requiem with a burst finish, red eye wins"

I get down on my knees and pick up valtryek as I cry I look at red eye to see no emotion on  his face, as he walks away I feel every hope that Shu would come back just disintegrate in my heart.

*5 hours later*

Everyone is asleep, I cant blame them its like 9:00,i get up and decide to go for a little walk in the forest so I could be alone, as I walk through the forest I cant help the feeling that im being watched I come to that log again and sit down, when suddenly a deer comes out of the bush.

"Oh hi you cant sleep too huh?" I ask as I look at it with sleepy eyes it nods its head and lies down next to me, as I pet it I start to drift off and after a few minutes I fall asleep, no nightmares plaguing me that night.
