Finns POV

I woke up, took a shower, changed, then padded into Jakes room. He was still asleep so I prodded him. He rolled over, his scruffy hair sticking out everywhere.

"Jake", I whined, I poked him again. He groaned but didn't waken.

I sighed,"Sorry bro", I walked to the kitchen and got a bowl of water. Yes, a big bowl, filled to the top with water. I carefully brought it back and placed in the bedside table next to Jake. Then, with a massive heave, I poured it over His head.

Behind me, someone erupted with laughter. I turned to see Marceline floating behind me, using the door frame to keep her up from laughing so much. I joined in and soon, Jake was glaring at me.

"Marceline, did you do this?", he growled, raising both his eyebrows.

"N-No, F-Finn did", Marcy said through her laughing fit. She was wearing a grey shirt under a purple plaid jacket, black skinny jeans and purple converse, the normal.

"Finn, what the heck, dude?", Jake ruffled his drenched hair, a big frown on his face.

"Sorry, you wouldn't wake up", I chuckled, snapping my gaze from Marceline. She's only a friend!

"Good one, Hero", Marceline stopped laughing and took a few jagged breaths.

Hero, her nickname for me rung through my head, making me blush slightly.

"Stop flirting, Marceline", Jake said, his voice cold, he quirked an eyebrow at me.

"Whatever, we need to find some bug milk today, I've called the others", Marcy informs, floating away.

I follow her absentmindedly. She opened the door and caught my gaze. Her red eyes showed no emotion, but the corners of her mouth were slightly lifted. Of course, she smirks all the the time.

We wait outside with bubblegum. I stared at my black trainers, thinking about what Jake had said Stop Flirting, Marceline.

"Earth to Finn", Marceline was waving her pale hand in front of my face, still floating.

I blinked a couple of times,"You need to stop floating, what I'd someone sees you!"

Marcy immediately dropped to the floor. "Oh yeah", she ran her hand through her jet black hair. Some parts were still sticking out, giving her a sort of bed head look.

Suddenly the lift door opened. I gave Marceline a look that said 'I-told-you-so'.

She gave my a toothy grin and nodded her head towards the people. I turned and saw Marshall, Fionna and Gumball.

"Where's Jake?", Fionna asked me, slipping her bunny hat on and making sure her hair was in, leaving out her fringe.

Marshall was standing by her side, hands firmly in his grey trouser pockets.

An awkward silence formed between us until Jake swaggered out casually. He nodded towards the residents if Aaa and stood by my side.

"You dried you hair I see", Marceline floated up to him, bearing her fangs.

Jake flinched, whimpering a little. "Yeah, thanks Finn!", he crossed his arms over his chest.

Marceline laughed again. The other s were just akwardly standing there. Marceline stopped floating and we all walked to the lift.

We knew where we were going. To the local supermarket to find bug milk.

"Let's split up, Bubblegum and Gumball, Marshall and Marceline and Finn, Fionna and me", Jake instructed

Everyone nodded but Marshall and Marceline who seemed to stare at each other. I tried to catch the emotion that flashed in Marcelines red eyes. Hostility? Wait. I swung my backpack over so I could reach it and grabbed her shades. She nodded, understanding and put them on.

Finally, we looked around, hoping to fins at least one carton or whatever of bug milk.

I have realised how much I love writing this book! I might have to write a separate high school adventure time book when I've finished that one. If you didn't know, my FinnCeline is on hold until I finish this book. That you for my slowly rising followers list and what? 59 votes!? I never thought this would happen bit it did. Sorry for rambling on, my friends over and I should be downstairs. They're playing minecraft.....
