Finally she remembers!

Marcelines POV

I cried out in pain as my head hit the short carpet. Grumbling, I pulled myself up, back to my bed and took in my surroundings. Then I looked at my skin. It was less pale than before.

"You're awake", bubblegum rushed into my room, pulling me in for a hug.

"How long was i out for?", I say, wincing as bonnie hugged me tighter.

"About a week. You woke up about a day after you fell unconscious but I had to put you back to sleep, you still forgot", she explained, stepping backwards and smiling.

"Forgot about what exactly?", I tilt my head, wondering why bonnie looks so...human.

"You died..", she began, staring at the carpet and shuffling about. I looked down at her feet. She wore pink converse, something she normally didn't wear.

"Yeah, I know that!", I growled, running my sore head and realising the we were not in Ooo.

"I somehow revived you and we got transported here", her green gaze turned away from me and she finished quietly,"In the human world".

A crooked smile appeared on my face,"Ah, I've heard of this place".

"You're not mad of anything?", Bubblegum wearily backs away.

"Nah, its cool", I say, casually standing up and going to get some clean clothes.

"Really, I don't really think of you as the school type", Bubblegums comment catches me off guard as I pick up my red and black striped jumper and some torn jeans.

"I'm not, I hate school", I growled, turning to look at the clock that was placed in the middle of what looked like an apartment wall.

"Well, meet us outside", Bonnie walked outside just as another door slammed shut and giggling could be heard by Finn and Jake.

I shook my head slowly as I head for the shower. Shaking off my sweaty clothes, I took a shower. As I stepped under the cool water, all my fears were washed away.

After I'd gotten out and I put on my clothes, I grabbed my backpack which was conveniently waiting for me beside to door.

"Food!", I facepalmed myself as my stomach grumbled. I raced to the kitchen and looked into the fridge. Nothing the caught my eye. I stood up from by kneeling position to find a fruit bowl filled with red fruits. I picked one up and bit into it.

Then, I walked through the door, still chewing my apple bite.

"This tastes so weird!", I exclaim, taking another bite and smiling.

"You're back!", Finn and this other guy who looks like Jake, ran up to my and enveloped my with a bear hug.

"Yeah, I am. And I'm not a vampire", I chuckle, feeling happiness rise in my chest.

"I know, we're gonna have to get back to Ooo though-", Jake started, running his hand through his thick orangey brown hair.

"-Because its falling apart", Bonnie explained, walking up to me. "Thank why we needed you to be well.... you again".

"Why do you need me?", I ask, walking to the lift after the others and pressing the 'Floor 1' button.

"You're the only one who can make portals", Finn said, nudging up and giggling. "You're vampire royalty after all".

I shoved my hands into my jean pockets and leaned against the cold metal wall. "I guess I am, but I'm not vampire anymore".

"Oh", Bubblegum facepalmed herself for thinking I could actually help as a human.

"Yeah, me dying doesn't seem to bad after all, eh?", I prompted, smirking slyly.

"No, not really-"Jake shrugged before he was cur off by Finns hand to his mouth.

"We missed you. Even Jake did", he said, laughing nervously, try to hide the fact that Jake actually said that.

I Chuckled and ruffled his hair, stealing his bear hat. The others laughed as I put it on, Finn trying to jump to get it off me. Now all of us were laughing like maniacs. Before we knew it, the lift had opened and people were giving us funny stared. Especially me.
