Texting

Around 6 O'Clock i was already snuggle up in bed with my laptop and window open , letting the rain drip onto the ledge .

A cat sat on the top of my headboard , her name was Mookie .

She was a blue coloured, British Shorthair .

Though , i had silenced out her purring when i saw a message ping on my phone.

Josh: Hey, i'm sorry about Tyler . I was just joking around and it slipped out. It's not a big deal really so lol

Wow.

Not a big deal?

Lilo will be pissed as hell .

What a cunt.

You: Not a big deal   ?

I thought i should message Lilo as well.

You: Has anyone messaged you since earlier ?

Lilo: Devian messaged me. He thinks it's bloody hilarious.

Lilo: Twat .

Seriously ?

Then another message...

Josh: I didn't mean to upset you , is she okay ?

You: She'll be fine , but now Devian is messaging her .

Josh: He won't be.

You: ?

Episodes of Friends rolled past my eyes and before i knew it , it was 10 .

Me and Lilo had messaged some more and i had told her what Josh had said, though neither of us were sure by what he meant.

Lil still thinks he likes me.

I think she's being over dramatic ; he's like a big brother.

School, 8.30 .

I sat on a rounded bench near the field, waiting for Josh to show up.

Time was ticking slowly and now it was almost time to 1st period - he's usually here before me.

"Sophia, my baby girl ." A voice called from behind , i turned.

Devan .

"What did you call me ?" I snapped .

"Wooow i was joking ya moody." He calls me that a lot.

I hate it.

"Why have you been messaging Lilo ?" I stared him down.

"Oh , that. We where joking about ," He smirked and came to sit by me.

"No, you weren't."

"What was it then  ?" My eyes stayed on his.

"You where trying to piss her off, don't fuck with her." 

"Why , what you gonna do ?" He found my reaction funny.

"Just don't ." I tried to give my voice a confidence boost - it flopped .

"Go on, tell me." Now he began to laugh at my and stood up.

He thinks he's intimidating .

"And don't tell me what to fucking do ."

He was now standing over me .

The field was empty , the icy coldness of the winter filled the air.

The sharp inhales in my lungs were becoming very apparent .

It was cold.

I liked the cold .

But now i didn't .

Then it was hot , a fiery tingling on the side of my head.

I heard the ding of a bell.

I saw the sky above me , the dark clouds creating a blanket over the sky.

The icy feel to the grass felt sweet on my back .

Then i heard a voice,

a deep voice. 

"What the actual fuck are you doing ?"

I saw Devan look up , i saw another jump onto of him.

I then saw black.

Sorry that this chapter is a bit all over the place lol. I knew where i wanted to take it , just didn't know how to get it there .

And i promise , the further i get into the story - the longer the chapters will be.
