Alexandra---

How could I do this to her, while she's out trying to catch my attempted killer, I go out and skinny dip with people I barely know. God how can I be so selfish,  Klaus is right,  I am a child.

The door opens and Salma walks in, I sit up like I used to when I was in trouble when I was younger.

"Alex, we need to talk" she said with a distant look.

"You wanted an explanation to what is going on, there are so many things that are happening around you, Things that I wanted to protect you from."  She pauses. "But your fate brought you into the middle of a chaotic world, and the only way you can be safe, is if you know the truth,  at least my truth for now."

I looked at Salma the way a five year old looks at her mother when she is lecturing her. "Salma, you're not making any sense? what things? you mean what regina is?? what are you talking about!?"

Salma came and sat infront of me.

"Ill tell you, but you must promise me that you will listen closely and calmly. " she said . " I'll start at the beggining. Alex,  there are thing's in this world that go farther than man's knowledge and logic, farther than science and religion but also so close to it. The elements,  Fire water earth air... life and death, They are precious gifts, and precious gifts are meant to be cared of. We take care of them."

"Who's we?" I ask, even more confused now.

"There is a race, rarely recognized and denied because of fear, but it exists.  The witch race, gypsies. " she looks me dead in the eye.

"Witches? arw you serious.  I mean I know we do weird spiritual thing's like blessing ourselves with an egg or cleansing ourselves with a broom, but there's no such thing's as witches.  I mean there can't be." I keep going, trying to sound reasonable I mean to my understanding I was the only sane person here.

Salma got up and walked to a little table that was in the middle of the room. She grabbed the pitcher of water and filled a cup. She came back and sat in front of me again.

"I'll show you, but please don't be afraid. " she said.

She dipped her finger in the water and swirled it. Lifting her finger up slowly and hovering it above, the water ran down and a tiny drop clinged to the tip of her finger.  When the drop dropped, instead of falling into the cup, it floated in the air.

I stared at it, amazed and frightened.

"What is this!?" I said while I backed up.

"This is the gift of water and air, being moved by me." she simply stated.  " just watch. " she said in a soothing voice.

Then two more drops rose from the cup and joined the one drop from before. Salma held her hand below them and motioned her fingers,  causing the drops to dance in a circle.

"It's... beautiful. " it's all I could say.

"You haven't seen anything yet" she smiled.

Unexpectedly Salma raised the cup of water quickly it caused the water to splash out! But the bed covers did not wet. Salma raised both of her hands and lifted the water.

Beads of tiny drops floated around us, as if we were actually underwater.

"Incredible." I whispered and smiled, starring in aww at what was around us.

"Your incredible. " I told Salma.

She smiled and held my hands.

" Now you know my secret, " she said and little tears were forming on her eyes,  they lifted away like the rest.

" There's something else you should know too." A knock at the door interrupted and starled her that she lost her focus and the water fell like rain on us.

We laughed at how it happened,  we were completely drenched.  "Come in!" I said through the laughter.

Elijah came in and looked at how we were soaked. Salma nodded at him and he smiled.  That's when I realized.

"You knew didn't you!" I exclaimed.

"Hush, yes they did but I told them to be silent until I was ready to tell you." Salma said. " Im sorry that I kept it from you."

She looked a little ashamed.  "Don't be, I understand Sal." I hugged her tight, and so long I forgot Elijah was still there.

"Oh, Uh I just wanted to let you know that Calib has come back. " he said,  and a little bit disappointed too.

"Thank you Elijah" Salma said and He nodded and walked out.

"Hmmm" I said.

"Whut?" Salma asked.

"Nothiing" I said like little kids do when they know a secret.
