Alexandra---

"Alexandra! Where have you been do you know how worried i was!" My brother stood up from his bed ran to me and hugged me tightly, squeezing the air out of my lungs.

I explained everything

"Do you remember who helped you?" manuel asked as he held my hand like if he let go i would disappear.

"The house maid said it was the Mikaelson family, i don't remember any faces though," i wish i could but  my memory was blurred.

Manuel got up and packed some food, "Where are you going,?" I ask.

"We're going to the authorities, you need to report your attackers, look at how they left you!"

" they won't do anything we're natives they don't care if we die in front of them, besides im healing quickly look the wounds are almost gone". I lift up my arms and show them.

"They are healing quickly, what kind of medicine did you take?" He studied my arms and head.

"I dont know i wasn't paying attention, ill be fine soon i just need some rest." I lay down on my bed, thankful im back home, it might not be much but there's no place i rather be.

"Ok if thats what you want, I have to go to work now you stay here." He gives me a kiss on my forhead and leaves for the sea.

A week has gone by, i have been so busy tending to Miss regina i didn't think about that night anymore.

"Oh Alexandra i am so exited! This will be the best masquerade in town!" Regina kept going on and on about her 20th birthday party.

She pulled out a gown from one of her dressers. I helped her put it on.

"How does it look Alex?"

I stand back and look at her. The gown was big and red it looked like fire, it matched her looks as well. Her red curled hair reached down to her middle waist.

"you look so beautiful any man would bow to your will." I said.

"Oh i know that," she was a bit self centered. "i have a surprise for you, it took me sometime to convince my father but since it is my burthday, he is allowing you to attend my party!" She ran to her bed and hugged me.

"Oh... I couldn't, those people are your kind not mine." I didnt feel like going to a party with people who only look at me and judge.

"Yes you can and will, please Alex as a gift your my best friend!" She looked at me with a poutty face.

I roll my eyes, "Ugh ok but i will only stay for a few hours."

She gives a high pitched squeel

"Yay!!!! This will be the best birthday ever!!"

I doubt it.

Klaus---

"Do we really have to go to this stupid thing?" I said annoyed.

"Yes klaus, this will be fun and who knows maybe you will enjoy it," my sister said while she helped me dress. I didn't want to go i was hoping to spend the night quietly, maybe go outside and look for prey or two.

"there, don't you look handsome,"my sister finished and stepped back to marvel.

I looked into the mirror with a smirk on my face, "well i suppose it wouldn't be fair if i kept all of this away from the ladies."

" do you and yourself need to be alone, here don't forget this" she hands me a black mask. I put it on." Wear that all night so you won't scare off people haha"

"Are we ready?" Elijah entered the room

"we're ready!"
