Wanda had to leave with Cap, Sam and Clint, all of them reluctant to leave, Wanda had to tell Peter when they got home from the hospital and she was dreading it. 6 months is a long time. Peter would have to go through what Wanda did.
Wanda walked into the kitchen to talk to Cap about leaving "Steve, I don't want to leave! I just got Peter back!" She told Cap.
"Wanda, I understand what it's like to lose someone, but we have to protect the people in Wakanda, there's a big threat coming, we need your help. You're one of the strongest people I know, Wakanda needs you Wanda." Steve said, Wanda huffed and whispered a quick "fine" then stormed off to tell Peter. She just didn't get what the big threat was anyway.
Peter was in his room, playing a video game, it looked like a older game, possibly an older Halo game? Wanda wasn't good with video games so she just quietly walked in a sat down on his bed and wrapped her arms lightly around Peters waist.
"Hey Wan" Peter said and finished his match. Once he was done he leaned down and hugged Wanda, he birdied his head into her shoulder and kisses her shoulder. "I love you" he mumbled softly into her shoulder.
"Pete, I have to tell you something, it's really important" Peter looked up, like a scared puppy "are you c-cheating on me?" He asked, his voice trembling.
"No, no, of course not, but Cap is forcing me to go to Wakanda with him to help the Avengers protect Wakanda. He said that Clint, Nat, Sam, Bucky, himself and I have to go. I'm sorry Pete, I really am" Peter looked upset no doubt, but he soon looked like he understood.
"I understand, but how long?" Peter asked
"6 months."
