Is it true?

I felt as My body started vibrating. I was quick on my feet and ran to the elevator, pressing the button.

"Come on! Open up!" I demanded, waiting for the elevator, but my hair flung behind me and my eyes shut, avoiding the small gust of wind.

I reopened them to see what I desperately needed. A man stood in-front of me.

"Barry!" I cried out, reaching for him.

I practically threw myself onto him, hugging him tightly.

"Sarah?" He asked.

"Hm?"

"You're Sarah Frank... right?"

"Yeah, why?" I asked, pulling away slightly to look up at him.

"Your mother... was Grace..."

"How do you know that?" I said, squinting my eyes.

"Sarah... you're Sarah Allen Frank..." I felt my brain try to piece it together.

"But I don't have a...you're Barry All-"

"Allen, yes... Sarah I met your mother... when I was nineteen... we dated for a year but I didn't think... she never said anything!"

Running, I went to my room in S.T.A.R labs, and snatched my backpack before I went back to Barry. I grabbed my mother's notebook and shoved it into his hand.

"S-She tried, Barry" i said, taking deep breaths to calm me down.

He opened the notebook and read its content.

"Come on, we need Caitlin to run some tests... this could be a sham for all I know."

His nails dug into my arm as he pulled me towards the labs, but the whole team had stopped us.

"BARRY!," Iris screamed, running towards him. They hugged for a long second, and I could've sworn that he had whispered a 'sorry' to his fiancé.

"How did you make it back so quickly? Surely you couldn't have gained so much momentum to make it back so quickly?" Caitlin asked, puzzled. Barry sighed

"Caitlin... we need to run some tests..."

We ran the test, we waited and anticipated the results. I was curious, amazed and... starving?... yes! Starving for knowledge! But also, i was really hungry.

We slept, in attempt to get the answers we searched , tomorrow... but tomorrow was further away than we both expect. Barry and I both slept in the patient rooms at star Labs. We had small talk.

"I wish we could see the stars..." he said

"Yeah... I get a better view at Wayne manor. I love it there, but sometimes it feels like i still don't fit in..."

"I feel that"

Somehow, the conversation felt serious. I was angry... and desperate

"If mother could see any of this... she'd be proud... and so scared for me. Iberios was an easy win. Robbers were really the only problem, and anyone could fight them off with a bit of practice... but now... now that i have powers, i see how the world works. It's a hierarchy. The ones with a bit of power chose the dark or the light and they cooperate with it to make it stronger..."

"Sarah... even if we were never related, i want you to know that I still want you to know I'm here for you, whatever you need, just give me a call, I'll be in Wayne manor faster than you could possibly know.-" he paused "Sarah, you have a striking resemblance to your mother"

"Thank you" i responded.

We were quiet, scared... amazed. The more i thought about it, the more it made sense. He was fragile, quirky, stubborn and hotheaded, all the things my mother had described. But so was I. I also had his hazel green eyes and his bone structure... in a way. He was naive, in a sense... and my naiveness had gotten me in so much trouble lately.

I wanted to go home... but where was home?
