It was beating! It was beating! I lifted my head as fast as it could go, since the pain.

"She's still alive!" I said.  Jonathan gasped and picked her up gently.

He ran out to the bat-cave and I sat there, unable to be there with her. More tears streamed down my face. I tried to move but the pain was too much.

Grayson and Todd had to be there by now. I knew they were, and I was stuck here.

—Jon's pov—
I put her down on the hospital bed in the bat-cave. Alfred was inspecting her the best he could. He saw only a few cuts, but nothing that would have caused her to come to a fainting reaction.

He took a needle. he injected it inside, and blood started to fill the tube. I winced.

He took it to the computers.

"Inspecting" the computer answered back to pennyworth's typing.

An hour flew by and the computer had finally finished the inspection.

"Lab chemicals and high electric energy, called velocity fifteen" the computer stated. velocity fifteen?

"Oh dear" Pennyworth said slouching.

he rushed over to Sarah and grabbed some scissors from the table. he started to cut open her suit. he had her strong defined abs showing and i knew my cheeks were heated up and red. i couldn't stop staring.

he pressed in a few areas and I felt insignificant.

i looked away for a few moments.

pennyworth froze. "all we can do is wait" he said.

wait? that's the least of things I could do.

---- nine day's later, time skip brought to you by: Wolfie----

----Sarah's pov----

I felt my head pounding. I felt an energy flood my veins and time started to become quicker, my heart accelerating.

I started to take notice of my surroundings. the slight noise a water droplet made from falling gently and spilling on the floor, my fast short breaths, quick steps.

I winced in the chill air around me.

"Sarah?" the sweet voice said. I heard it's echo various times. my lips curled up slightly. unable to open my eyes, I waited.

"Frank?" the same voice repeated my name.

"D-dami" i said with as such difficulty as it was to breath.

"Frank!" he screamed my last name with the might in him.I heard him run off.

taking this opportunity, I opened my eyes slowly, almost cautiously.

The batcave, and a weird beeping noise. Geez it was annoying!

I turned my head sideways. My head ached.

The door opened, reveling six silhouettes.

I could feel my lips slowly turn upwards.

"D-Dami?" I could hear my voice break saying his name.

They were all now by my side.

"Master Damian! Give her some air!" Alfred screamed.

I opened my eyes just a little wider to see them clearer.

"it's gonna be ok Frank" Damian's voice echoed in my head. His hand brushed over mine, but Jason pulled him away, keeping him in a tight grip, so he couldn't escape.

"B-Bruce?" I asked.

"Still on their mission" Tim stated.

Jason let go of Damian, but I knew they would later find it as a mistake.

He came to my side, clutching at my hand.

"Are you ok? Do you feel ok? You're going to be alright" His voice. His god damn voice. So familiar, yet so foreign.

"Damian! I am sorry" I heard Alfred say, before plunging a jeringue into his caucasian skin.

"N-No!" I barely whisper-shouted.

"I'm sorry Miss Sarah" Alfred's accent seemed to make it a little easier to bear as he gently injected the jeringue, into my wrist this time.

I flinched, and the world became one, once again.
