Three months
Pain is shared
We all feel it
Some differently
Others the same
Break downs and tears
Or staying strong
Hiding behind a smile
Or genuinely smiling
Sadness takes many forms
The sun being free
The moon being trapped
The sun being trapped
The moon being free
We all feel trapped at times
We all feel free sometimes
And this is our connection
The connection of our particles
Made of stardust
The most sacred thing
All created the same
Yet different in many ways
The sun, made the same
The moon, made the same
Yet both very different
One dark and upsetting
One bright and comforting
One painful and tearful
One euphoric and kind
Though sometimes they can change roles
Depending on the reader
Depending on the mind
The moon being beauty
The sun being sadness
The moon splendourous
The sun blinding and painful
I am the moon
I am a moon child
For we are the same thing
Both particles and stardust
Yet very different
