Margaux craned her neck to see where she was over the mountain of duvet and soft pillows. She woke up feeling nauseous and cold. It feels like she was wrestled by a professional underground fighter. She sat down and took in her surrounding. The walls are painted ivory white; it contrasted the black furniture and fixtures in the fairly large room. There are some splashes of color from the books on the hanging shelves on the wall. Big window panels framed the cityscape of their place. A plasma TV plastered on the wall and gaming consoles lined up under it.

The room look very costly if you try to put a price tag on it. From the looks of it, the person who own this room is very poised and respectable. Someone who doesn't like something to mess up and concerned of what others may think of them.

Margaux looked down and saw that she's wearing a large button-down shirt that reached above her knees. It's making her look like she's wearing a dress. She frantically hugged her arms as if to protect herself from others. Just as she was about to leave the bed, she heard voices from behind the door. There's no choice but to return to the bed and pretend that she's still sleeping.

Law didn't say anything when he barged in into his own flat while carrying the girl from the library. Mitchel picked up on it and didn't question him. Instead, he volunteered to carry the girl upstairs and placed her to bed. Mitchel noticed her lips are the hue of death. White and looking bloodless. She looks like she's been through something. He went back downstairs and confronted Law.

"Hey, where did you found her? She doesn't look okay to me." Law jumped when he tapped him on the shoulder. "Law, hey! Are you okay? Did you even heard me talking?"

"Uhmm, sorry. I was just thinking. What were you asking just now?" he answered, still looking outside his window. His face full of questions and wonders. Back in the library, all of those paintings that looks like they're watching, the bats, the librarian, the blue light, the clouds of smoke, the girl - everything bothered him now. His brain is still trying to process what did just happened to him. Are all those freaky things just a cause of hallucination? But, I'm pretty sure that I'm sober and in the right mind. he thought.

"I'm just asking where did you found her because she doesn't look alright to me." Mitchel repeated. Law contemplated if he's going to tell his friend the exact details from what really happened and decided to just tell him anyway.

"Well, remember that you told me to find somewhere that will inspire me so I can write a pretty short story, so I did. I went to the library across the street. Yes, the creepy one. What's the name of it, again? 'Rapacia Centuries Library: Home of Old and Modern Books of Different Centuries! Bwahahaha!' Exact words of the librarian. She even raised her hands in the air while saying that." he described to Mitchel what happened in the most creepiest way just spook him out.

He surely looks like he's about to pee from nervousness and fear. Law tried to contain his laughter but didn't succeed. He clutched his stomach while laughing so hard and run the back of his hand over his eyes to wipe his tears of joy. " You know now why I'm thinking so hard. It sounds surreal but it's true. The evidence is on my bed, sleeping soundly."
