A/N: School is depriving us from what really nurtures us, The Internet. Aye? Aye. Here you go.
She woke up in cold sweat, under the duvet while the moonlight shining through her windows. Slowly, she sat upright, stretching her body from side to side. Her body feels like a bus dragged her for hours. Okay, take a pause. Where's the mess?! Hiroshi, that WII Pilot, where is he? Is it just one of those horrible dreams or what?!
From what she saw, everything returned to its pristine state. So, it was just a dream. She let herself believe that everything is fine. Nothing is out of place so it means nothing is wrong, right? No cracks on the wall, her bed's still intact, the paintings not torn, books are arranged, the rags are perfectly placed on the floor.
"Ughh, I should take a cold shower. Maybe it's just one of my realistic nightmare."
Her face received a series of slaps. That's her way of waking herself up. Yeah, it's pretty painful. She then walked towards the bathroom door. Boris, on his usual station, is sitting beside the door. He usually sits there when he's thirsty, waiting for her to open the door and fill up his bowl.
"Hey Boris! You're getting fatter and fatter every day. You should stop drinking too much water and we should cut down your dog food intake. That would, at least, remove that double chin here."
When she reached for the shower curtain, she heard someone groaned. It sounded like it's coming from the comfort room just behind the glass cabinet to the left of the shower area. She wait for it to make a sound again and it did. She picked up Boris and slowly walked to the comfort room. It only needs a gentle push to open the door. She whispered something to Boris before she slipped Boris inside.
"Bite. Bite HARD!"
He had a little training from the Animal Shelter before we got him. It's a mandatory for them to teach the dogs some tricks before releasing them. So if something happens, the dogs are ready to defend themselves from anyone causing them harm. It's really getting handy these days, actually.
Last week, someone tried to get one of the gargoyle in front of the house. Those gargoyles are millennium old so it would cost a lot when it would be sold to a antique collector. Boris caught them and he let out an unusual howl. Because of that, Andres, carrying a katana, immediately ran to come and get the burglar. Well, obviously, the gargoyle didn't scared him.
The door opened and the Kamikaze Pilot came out with a big teeth mark on his bloody nose. He looks shocked and scared of the dog. Meanwhile, Boris came out looking innocently. He doesn't seem to bother biting someone. When the Kamikaze Pilot noticed Margaux standing there, looking at him with shocked and curious face, he didn't say anything. Instead, he imitated what Margaux is doing.
A few moments later...
"AAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHH!" he screeched like a banshee meeting his own death.
To counter his screeching, she let out a scream just as loud as the Kamikaze Pilot did. "AAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHH!"
She quickly ran out of the bathroom and hide under the bed but, unfortunately, Hiroshi caught the back of her shirt and pulled her to his chest. She struggled to get out of his arm but he's strong. That's enough reason for her to stop planning her escape and just surrender.
"What do you want? Huh? You don't stand a chance of getting something from me. I'm a taekwondo black belter! I can break your bones! Also, my money is kept by our family lawyer so..." She mocked.
"Oh no! I don't need your money. You are the one to blame here, miss. You brought me here. Now, now. What do you want from me?"
"H-How? I didn't do anything!" She denied Hiroshi's accusation.
