It was a cold, rainy night out in the Country side. There was a house in the middle of a field. No lights could be seen for miles, not even civilization could be seen. The house looked old and rotten. Completely abandoned, so it looked, but it wasn't completely abandoned. On the second floor of the house in a large bedroom sat a 19 year old on her bed crying. The girls name was Bella Smith She had blue hair and wore a green hoodie, dark blue skirt and shoe's and had pale skin. The room was dark, cold and quiet. The sound of isolation echoed through the house as no one else lived with her. Suddenly, she heard a creak down stairs, as if someone else was in the house walking around. She turns her head to her right to look at her bedroom door, which was closed, and spoke with a broken whisper "Hello?" Bella stuttered. She got no reply and thought she was just hearing things. She puts the blanket over her as she laid down and slowly drifted off to sleep. The rain continued to beat the window that was directly in front of her bed.
An hour later, she woke up with a fright. She heard a gunshot right outside her door. She sat up straight and forced her back against the wall and panned left to right. All that was heard was the rain beating of the window. Bella looks at the door before slowly getting off her bed and walking to it. She stood in front of the door and was about to open it before something violently started to beat the door, begging to get in. Bella got frightened and fell back and cried more. "leave me alone!" she screamed in fear. Suddenly, it stopped. The house was quiet again. The poor girl was in tears as she stared at the door. Bella stands up weakly and put her back against her wardrobe and lightly rested her head on it as she held her chest. She can feel her heart pounding her chest and can hear every beat it made. It sounded like a drum being hit rapidly. She took a breath and walked towards the door slowly and stopped right in front of it. She fearfully raised her arm as her hand tremors dramatically and stopped just as she was about to open the door. She hesitates to open it but, swiftly, she opened it a took a step back and stared into the hall. Nothing was there. Not a single living thing was there. All she seen was the pale blue wall. She peeked down the hall on her right then her left and again, nothing was there. Her crying became crying with relief before hearing music being played downstairs.
It sounded like the music from a jack in a box. Something she had always hated since she was a child but wasn't sure if it was a music box or jack in a box. What ever it was, she didn't own it. She left her room and slowly made her way down the hall. Every few seconds she looking behind her to make sure nothing was there. She had now reached the top off the stairs and looked down at the bottom. It looked a lot darker and a mist flooded it. She slowly walked down the stairs, each step making a creak. The music got louder and clearer when she got to the bottom. She peers over the banister of the stairs and saw the jack in a box sitting on the coffee table as the small red handle turned on its own. She walked towards the living room and as soon as she put her foot inside the living room, she heard a door slam upstairs. She snapped her head towards the top of stairs to see if anyone was up there then looked back at the table. The box was gone. As if it had vanished from the face of the earth. All of a sudden she felt a cold breath on the back of her neck. Her heart stopped immediately. She slowly turns around and saw her childhood fear. A six foot clown. Blue hair, yellow and red suit, a large creepy petrifying smile and holding a sledge hammer. His name was Wacko the clown.
"Hello again." said the clown in a high, crooked tone. Bella's face had went completely white. She stood back a before screaming loudly and running to her left towards the back door. When she reached the back door, she tried opening it but couldn't as it was locked. She hears Wacko laughing behind here and so she turned around and pinned herself to the door. "No! please don't kill me!" She cried. "Sweet dreams, little girl!" He said before laughing his brains out. He lifted his hammer and forced it down. Bella screamed but just before the hammer hit her, she woke up back in her bed, screaming. She sat up crying and snapped her neck left to right and saw nothing. Not a single sign of wacko. Her heart was pounding her chest as if it was ready to burst. It then came to her that it was only a nightmare. She wiped her tears away but kept crying. As she slowly calmed down, the sun began to rise. She looked to her right to look at her clock but noticed it was blocked by the music box. She slowly picked it up and looked at it. It was hard for her to see it due to her hands shaking and tears in her eyes. She thought to herself that it was time to change things around a little.
She got up and walked downstairs to her living room, leaving the music box on her bed. She opened a cabinet and took out a box full of letters, notes and other things. She found what she had wanted and grabbed her house phone and dialed the number. She tried a few times before giving up, placing the phone on the table and just before she walked away it started ringing. She quickly picked it up and answered it. "Hello? Is this... Amanda?" she asked with a slight break in her voice. The woman then replied. "Yes I'm Amanda. Who's this?" She asked. "Bella... Bella Smith." Bella replied. "Listen. I don't know who the fuck you are but calling me and putting me through this is nowhere near funny." Amanda says. "Amanda. I'm Bella. The girl you saved at that circus. We were best friends... We talked about Danny everyday. It's me, Amanda." Bella says. "What did I fear most when we were friends?" Amanda asks after a long silence. "You feared losing me the same way you lost Rachel. You were afraid I would vanish without a trace. You feared the one person you needed in your life." Bella says softly. Amanda could be heated crying with joy over the phone. Bella hears someone talking to her, then the phone drops. She hears someone ask if Amanda was okay. "I'm fine.... No. The opposite... Thank you." Amanda says. She picks up the phone again. "I'm sorry about that.... I miss you, Bella." Amanda cries. "I miss you too, Amanda." Bella says. They both talked for a while, letting eachother know where they live, how life was and what's happened during the week. Amanda planned to see Bella as soon as she could. During the weekend.
