5: Peace at last?

The sun is peering through the window. The room becomes warm. Cosy. Bella wakes up but struggles to open her eyes. They were glued shut. A warm feeling surrounds her body. It wasn't the sun. She moves a hand to her eyes and pries them open. She looks at her chest to see someone's arm. Amanda's. She smiles. Bella gently lifts Amanda's hand and holds it to her lips. She kisses it before placing the hand down again. She turns around to face Amanda. She was sound asleep. Her skin looks softer. Bella barely touches her cheek and rubs it. "How are you so beautiful?" Bella asks in mere whispers. She looks under the covers then back at Amanda's face. She blushes heavily and becomes a little scared. She's never been so close to her in years. Especially half naked. She wanted to move away but she couldn't. She tried and Amanda pulled her closer. She was an inch away from Amanda's lips. "She's driving me crazy. Should I kiss her?" Bella thinks to herself. Without anymore thought, Bella's lips connect with Amanda's. She keeps them there for a good minute. She pulls her head back and smiles with relief. "Thank god she didn't wake up." Bella whispers. Just as she finished the sentence, Amanda jumps out of bed and backs herself to the wall. Wide eyed and breathing heavily. Bella was startled. She looked Amanda and covered herself. She could tell she was frightened. "What's wrong?" Bella asks with concern. Amanda stares as she tremors. She hugs her knees and tries not to cry. Bella quickly moved to Amanda's side and hugged her. "Amanda. What's wrong?" Bella asks. "Sorry. I'm sorry. Just a nightmare. I'm sorry." Amanda says. Bella nods. "Just the day it all happened. Seeing you on the edge of death n all. But he killed you without waiting. I arrived and... Blood... It just covered me." Amanda adds as she hugs Bella. "I'm sorry." Amanda says. "It's okay." Bella replied. She questioned why she apologised.

"Did you sleep well?" Amanda asks as she lets go. "Yeah. It felt great actually. Especially waking up to your arms around me." Bella replies. Amanda blushes. "Did I actually have my arms around you?" Amanda asks. Bella nods. "Actually. When I tried moving away, you pulled me closer." Bella says. Amanda could feel herself melt. "God. I'm a real dork." She says as she covers her face. Bella could smell eggs cooking downstairs. "Breakfast is smelling nice." Bella states. Amanda pokes her nose out from her hands and sniffs. Bella giggles. "It is, too." Amanda says as she stands up. Bella stands too. Amanda looks away and smiles a little. "What is it?" Bella asks with interest. "Did you actually kiss me last night? Or was it a dream?" Amanda asks. Bella looks away and walks to her drawers to grab some clothes. Amanda expected an answer but it was clear she wasn't getting one. She admires Bella's smile. Bella looks at her and stares. "You not getting dressed?" Bella asks. Amanda looks away and blushes before getting dressed. Mrs Smith enters with a smile. "Morning, girls. How was your sleep?" She asks. "It was great... I didn't see him once." Amanda snapped her head at Bella. "Seriously?" Amanda says with shock. Bella nods. "That's great!" Amanda adds with joy. "Breakfast is ready downstairs for you both. Be quick." Mrs smith says before leaving. Bella takes out a small teddy-bear from her drawer and threw it at Amanda. She catches it and stares at it. "You still have it?" Amanda asks. Bella nods. "It helped me sleep. I always talked to him and told him not to tell you the secrets I told him. If he tells you them now then I'll have a heart attack." Bella says with a chuckle. Amanda smiles and places him on the bed. "That's probably the cutest thing ever. Other than you of course." Amanda blurts out. Bella glows red. "You really find me that attractive?" Bella asks. Amanda nods. Bella smiles as she gets closer to Amanda. She looks at her, up and down. She thought of something which would suit Amanda. She removes Amanda's red checked shirt from her trouser and unbuttons it. "What are you doing? You really wanna have sex now?" Amanda jokes. "Oh, shut up." Bella chuckles. Soon, Amanda sees what Bella is trying to do. Bella rolls the bottom of the shirt up until it was just below Amanda's breasts before tying the two corners together. Amanda smiles and hides her belly scar. Bella removes her hand and stares at the scar. "You know how self-conscious I am, Bella." Amanda whines. "I know. But you suit it. If anyone asks. Just tell them... You suit this. You look like a sexy farm girl." Bella says shyly. Amanda blushes. "Right. You're proper killing me here. Let's go eat before I die." Amanda chuckles as she walks out the room. Bella giggles and follows.
