Bella & Amanda: When Two Hearts Meet

7: It's Not Over

Amanda and Bella return to the countryside house. Bella was scared to go in. She saw him again last night. Thursday night. She didn't mention it. She didn't want to worry Amanda. Bella realized she had feelings for her but being the shy girl she is, Bella decided to keep it quiet. She opens the door and throws her bag on the sofa. Amanda walks in and leaves her suitcase by the door. The music box still sat on the table. Right where they left it. Bella looks around for any sign of him or the demon. They hadn't appeared. She looks at Amanda and smiles. "You hungry?" She asks. Amanda smiles back. "Kinda. I can wait until later. How does it feel being back?" Amanda asks as she wraps her arms around Bella's waist. Bella blushes and leans back a little. "Same as always. But I feel a lot better that you took me home and that my parents are happy knowing I'm still alive. And I've only one person to thank." Bella says. "Who?" Amanda asks stupidly. "You, of course." Bella chuckles. "Fuck sake. I'm an idiot." Amanda laughs. "Can you play a song? Any song will do." Bella says. Amanda sits at the piano and plays a song for her. Bella sits on the sofa and listens. She can't help but fall for Amanda more. She was brilliant at the piano. Great with her hands. Bella was about to blurt out some random words but caught herself. Amanda finishes and looks at her. "What now?" Amanda asks. "I don't know. I could hug you all day right now but I gotta cook dinner n all." Bella blurts out. "What?" Amanda asks. Not sure if she heard her right. "Nothing. Sorry. You know what we can do? We can go for a walk. Read books. Watch TV. My house is pretty boring." Bella states. Amanda sits beside her and crosses her legs. "I've got many things in mind but they-" Amanda stops and looks at the stairs. Her attention doesn't move from them. Bella sits up and looks at her face with confusion. "Amanda?" Bella asks. Amanda looks at her then back at the stairs. "Did you not just see something there?" Amanda asks. "No... Don't tell me I've made you go insane." Bella says with serious concern. "What? No, no, no." Amanda says as she looks back at Bella. "As I was saying. I've got many ideas but... You're straight. You don't like women in a certain way. But TV sounds good. Wait, didn't you say you played board games?" Amanda asked. "Yes but I refuse to play again. They bored me to death. No pun intended." Bella replies. "I'd love to watch TV with you. A movie, actually. There's loads in the cabinet." Bella adds as she gets up and walks to the cabinet. Amanda follows.

When Bella opens it, she's shocked to say many DVDs. Most were romantic or sci-fi. She sees the Alien movie and covers it. "We're not watching that. That shit gave me nightmares for a month." Amanda says. Bella nods. "I love the Alien. It's so magnificent. Kinda like someone I know. Anyway! How about we watch Garfield?" Bella asks. "Any movie is great with my best friend. Like those movie nights we used to have." Amanda replies. Bella went red. "Please don't bring them up. I remember one which was quiet embarrassing and I'd prefer to not have it mentioned." Bella says. Amanda laughs and nods. "Okay then. I don't know what would be embarrassing about watching movies. We both cried at some so don't be embarrassed." Amanda says as she sits down. Bella hides her face and puts the DVD in. The memory she had was when Amanda was somehow drunk and kissed her while watching a movie. She's surprised Amanda didn't remember it at all. Bella sits on the sofa beside Amanda. They watch it together like the way they used to. Bella just wished she was drunk again. As they watch the movie, Bella slowly gets closer to Amanda without her noticing. Amanda continues to watch the movie as Bella makes her way in front of her. She makes Amanda hold her around the waist. Afterwards, Bella admires Amanda's laughs and smiles instead of watching the movie. She couldn't help it. She tried watching the movie but her eyes would always return to Amanda.

Fortunately, Bella managed to have an hour and twenty minutes in the position she wanted to be in, with Amanda constantly laughing. Somehow, Amanda managed to find every hidden joke. "Right. Imma make dinner. Cheesy pasta?" Bella asks. "I'll grate the cheese. I love your cheesy pasta. And now that you mention it, I'm craving it." Amanda replies. Bella giggles. "Who doesn't love my cheesy pasta?" Bella asks rhetorically. Amanda follows her into the kitchen and begins to grate cheese. Bella finds a pot and fills it with pasta. Enough for two. She then adds the hot water before leaving it on the cooker. "What you wanna do while we wait?" Bella asks. "I don't know.... Wait." Amanda says. There was silence. "I would ask if we can have a shower. I don't wanna go in alone because I'm feeling quite paranoid. I feel like, if I leave you, something bad will happen." Amanda says. Bella smiles in aww with a red face. "That's sweet. I'll be okay. On you go." Bella replies. "No. I'd rather wait. I'm paranoid for reasons." Amanda says. "What reasons?" Bella asks as she leans against the counter. "What... What if he is real... But just hasn't came to me yet? Same with that demon... What if they're both real and waiting to pick us off while we're alone?" Amanda states. Bella looks away. "I see your point... You did look pretty scared and confused earlier. But what do you mean by not going alone?" Bella asks nervously. Amanda turns red and holds her own hands. "I... I don't know, actually. It just kinda came out without a second thought." She stutters. Bella imagines what might happen if they both went into the shower. She wanted it badly but thought it would be too soon. "Okay then. Just curious. I Don't mind if we go in together or not. It's up to you." Bella says. Amanda looks away and hugs herself. "It's actually up to you. I don't know if you like taking scolding hot showers." Amanda states. Bella frowns with concern. "Why do you take that kind of shower?" She asks. "Personal reasons... It's a fact if you wanna look it up. I'd prefer to not say. It's quite sad, to be honest." Amanda replies. Bella takes her phone out and searches it up. Amanda didn't expect her to actually search it up.
