I went for a run, the sun was still up
Gracing the streets with it brushing rays
Still fresh and wet
Which stained my feet
It was light and people walking
My eyes were covered by its shiny palm
Blinding bright spark
I ran faster
Away, away!
Out of the sight of the celestial kingdomThe leaves were already yellow
The sign of a passing season
Fading, leaving traces on the tips of trees
Colours from amber to peach and lemon
The golden times of coming autumn
And a couple of leaves were red
Like medals to strawberries
That survived through the season
Jingling high up, like on the pedestalThere's still the smell of summer
A little, light scent, like a garden
Painted with the aroma, smoke and odour
The light was still there as well
With a parting gift
Of extra warmth
The affection must've been
Even greater This Year
For people were still walking
Alive, smile, and talking
The daylight was popular again.12/9/2018
