I see the Devil in her eyes
Eyes crystal yet solid green
Skin fresh, senses alert
All eyes avert
Ears clogged
Heart, cold like ice,
Beating; - as if in a dream
She yawned when they begged
A cliff so high
Rising, rising
With each step
Imprints heavy
Embedding to the grass
Rocks, sand and waterbed
Reality shattered to pieces and glasses
She steps on those shards,
Fluctuated heart, so fragile
I can see her eyes shivering
Like an autumn leaf
Keep her close, keep her safe
For winter is coming
Then comes spring
Time heals wounds
But first, we have to leap
Over the deep pit
Full of spikes & thorns
Hold the gun
Keep it away
Look straight
Look very close
Through the mist
Through the smog
Emitted by the anger
By the abyssal hate
The smoke is heavy
Go through it well
Then you spot
The light you've lost
Ignored, avoided
Hope you can still
Restore, and save a life.
