Ronny had to be more cautious now that he had a child he had to keep safe. He began to run for the west wall to escape. Ronny saw Xavier and Sarah had made contact with Suzy as she was now fighting on the same side. Finally, the group could unleash upon Mount Vernon with the whole group fighting for the right side. Jackson was still fighting for the cause as well. He saw Ronny approach the group as he yelled, "Ronny, where's Omar? And who's baby is that"? Ronny said, "He's my kid. Omar is dead". Jackson stopped shooting as he said, "You're a liar. Where is he"? Ronny gave Jackson a look that confirmed what Ronny was saying was true. Jackson said, "What happened? Ronny, what did you do"! Ronny said, "The leader of this place shot him. I didn't have a chance to help". Jackson took a moment to consider what Ronny said before he screamed, "You're a liar. Omar wouldn't go out like that. He's a fighter". Jackson then pointed his gun at Ronny and said, "I'll give you one last chance to tell me what you did to Omar". Ronny was scared, but not for himself, but for Albee. Ronny turned to the side to semi-protect Albee as he said, "I told you the truth, Jackson". Jackson started to lower his gun as if he finally believed Ronny. However, when Ronny believed that Jackson accepted Omar's fate, Jackson started to shoot at Ronny as Ronny hid behind a building. He carefully set Albee down as he started to fire back. Ronny frantically looked around trying to find his people. He saw Suzy was nearby as he screamed her name. "Make sure my child survives this", said Ronny. Suzy grabbed Albee as she snuck to the west wall. Meanwhile, Ronny kept shooting at Jackson as Jackson did the same. Jackson said, "Ronny. It's pointless to resist. Mount Vernon has fallen. Me and my people won't let you back in the group. You have nowhere to go after this. Why still fight"? Ronny tried to ignore his taunts and at first, he was able to, that was until Jackson said, "Oh, wait, I forgot you have a child. Well, I guess I should take care of it as well. No need for another Ronny revolter. It'll be ok though. I'll make sure I'll kill it after you. I'll be generous enough to kill it after you". It was now that Ronny lost control of his body. He saw his own body from a third person perspective. The old Ronny was gone. He stopped shooting at Jackson as he took out his knife. Ronny grabbed the nearest Islander as he stabbed them in the throat and used their body to block Jackson's bullets. After a few shots, the person was dead, however, they remained alive long enough for Ronny to get closer to Jackson as Ronny hid behind another building.
Ronny looked around and saw another Islander was hiding behind the same building as they shot at the military officers. Ronny grabbed the person by the head as he ripped the gun out of their hand and began to decapitate them. Ronny heard the person gargle on their own blood as they looked at Ronny's cold, dead eyes. Ronny wasn't halfway done before the person was dead. After cutting through most of their neck muscles and tendons. Ronny put his foot on the corpse as he attempted to pull the person's head off of their body. After a few attempts, Ronny heard the crunch of the bones and remaining muscles as the head broke free. Ronny held the head by the hair as he looked for Jackson. He saw Jackson was waiting for him as Jackson started shooting at him again. Ronny waited behind the wall until the shooting stopped. Ronny then jumped out from behind the wall and waited for Jackson to appear. When Jackson poked out from behind his wall, ready to shoot at Ronny, Ronny threw the head at Jackson. It was something Jackson was not ready for as the head hit Jackson in the chest as Jackson fell back.
It took Jackson a few moments to collect himself as he tried to realize what had hit him. He looked at the head that now laid next to him. Despite the fact that Jackson was used to seeing decapitated heads, this caught him off guard. Before he could get up, he felt someone push him down. It was Ronny. Ronny had a gun aimed at him as Jackson accepted his fate. He closed his eyes as he waited for the bullet. A shot was heard, that was followed by three other shots. Ronny had shot Jackson in all of his limbs. Jackson screamed in pain as he saw the bullet holes in his arms and legs. Ronny then pulled the trigger over his genitals. This was by far the worst pain Jackson had felt as he saw Ronny put away his gun. "So that's it, huh? You're just gonna leave me here to die then" Jackson asked. Ronny simply looked at Jackson as he pulled out the same knife he used to decapitate the other poor soul. Ronny knelt down in front of Jackson as he said, "You won't be laying a hand on my child if you have no hands". Ronny then began to crudely cut off both of Jackson's hands. Ronny stared at Jackson coldly as he threw his mutilated hands off to the side. By now Jackson was broken as he began to cry. Ronny said, "You won't even be able to approach my child if you have no feet". Ronny then began to cut off Jackson's feet as Jackson screamed out in pain. He said, "Please, just kill me". Ronny said, "Trust me, you'll die. Just not right now". Ronny then waited a moment to let Jackson feel every ounce of pain that Ronny inflicted. Jackson's face was, by now, white. His body was laying on a pool of his own blood. Ronny was covered in Jackson's blood as he prepared to kill him. Ronny wiped the blood and sweat off of his forehead as he said, "And of course you can't even speak about my kid if you don't have vocal cords to speak with". Ronny then sliced open Jackson's throat as he began to rip out anything that he saw. Jackson choked on his blood as he slowly faded away.
After tearing out his vocal cords, Jackson was dead, however, Ronny felt that death was not good enough as he began to stab Jackson repeatedly in various spots. Ronny then got up and screamed, "You never threaten my fucking kid"! Ronny looked around as he tried to find his people. However, he couldn't find them so he ran for the west wall in hopes of finding them. On his way to the wall, he saw that the war was almost over as both sides had few surviving people still fighting. Ronny saw that at the main gate across the city, biters began to make their way into the city to pick off the survivors. Ronny realized just how devastating this war was for both factions. However, to him, it didn't matter. He only cared about those who he had left Seattle with. He only cared about his family. Ronny was now at the west wall where, only a few hours earlier, had not known he'd lose his lover or that he'd also lose his friend. As he looked outside of the walls, he saw Xavier, Sarah and Thomas had their backs to him. As he approached them he heard shouting. Ronny walked up to the group as he said, "What the hell is going on here". Ronny saw that Suzy was aiming her gun at another female. Nick was aiming his gun at her as well. "Who the hell is that", Ronny said. Suzy said, "She's been following Nick and I since we escaped the Biker camp. She's trying to kill us". Scarlett yelled, "You killed Jerry. It's only fair to kill you". Scarlett looked at Nick as she said, "As for you. You tried to kill me, that deserves death as well. You both took everything from me. It's unfair for you two to walk away without consequences". Ronny saw that Suzy wasn't holding Albee, but rather Sarah was. Ronny said, "Ok, let's just calm down everybody. No one has to die". Scarlett looked at Ronny as she said, "Just like how those men didn't have to die. Or that girl with them"? Ronny was confused as he said, "What are you talking about"? Scarlett said, "In Marysville, you killed two men. For no other reason than to take their car. In case you forgot, the girl was wearing a tye dye shirt. Yeah, does that sound familiar, Ronny"? Ronny thought about after he was left for dead at the hospital in Marysville. He remembered seeing the trio struggle to handle the biters as Ronny approached them. He remembered killing the men out of anger for Zack and his people. Scarlett saw Ronny's realization as she said, "Why didn't you kill me when I begged you to? When you had the chance to? Why did you kill my friends"? Nick said, "Your friends? You have no friends". Scarlett said, "They were my friends. After they died, I wanted to die. I waited for the undead to get me, that is until I remembered Jerry. I swore I would protect him with my life and now that he's gone, I am truly alone". Suzy said, "Don't listen to her. She tried to kill Nick and I multiple times. She even followed us here".
Despite the fact that Scarlett looked broken, she still held her gun firmly on Suzy as Suzy aimed at Scarlett. Ronny said, "Let's just put the guns down guys. We can figure things out if we can begin to trust each other". Nick lowered his gun as he watched Suzy and Scarlett. Out of the two women, Suzy was the first to lower her gun. She waited for Scarlett to do the same. Scarlett looked at Ronny as she said, "I can't do it, Ronny". She then shot Suzy in the side of her neck. Out of reaction, Nick shot Scarlett in her chest. Both Scarlett and Suzy fell to the ground as Scarlett died. Nick held Suzy in his arms as she slowly died. Nick said, "Don't worry Suzy. It's all over. No more running, no more being afraid". Nick saw Suzy was in pain as blood spilled onto Nick's legs and shorts. Nick laid her head gently on the ground as he aimed his gun at her. Nick said, "Just think, you'll never worry about starving or about being bit or about any other worries". Nick saw Suzy plead for him to kill her. Finally, Nick pulled the trigger.
