Kayleighs POV
Why the fuck did I say that?
I no longer had my head resting on her shoulder. We sat beside each other, stiff and still, staring at the wall in front of us. The fondly used nickname caused an unspoken tension in the air.
"Blondie, huh?" Thea spoke. Her voice completely void of emotion. I squinted my eyes. I would reply with a sad answer or apologise, but I'm Kayleigh. And my only language seems to be Sarcasm and mockery.
"Well, you haven't died your hair blue yet so I couldn't really change it" I deadpanned. She snapped her head to me and I turned mine to look at her smugly.
"I was ten" She defended while glaring at me.
"Ten seconds away from dieing your hair with paint" I smirked. She clenched her ditsy and shut her eyes. I watched her as she did so until she dropped the tension in her body and sighed.
"Why did you call me that?" She exasperated. It was my turn to tense up but I quickly stood up and walked towards the door.
"It was a mistake" I shrugged. But Thea wasn't taking that as an answer. She stood up abruptly after me and followed me out the door.
"You think I'm gonna believe that bullshit?" She snapped.
"Well duh, cause its the truth, it won't happen again, I promise" I told her, walking down the stairs to an eerily quiet house.
"Look, we may hate each other but that doesn't mean I don't know you like the back of my hand" She argued strongly.
"I never mentioned hating you, that was all you" I shot back. She let out a frustrated sigh as we walked towards the kitchen.
"Geez, why the do you always find a way to fuck up everything. It was all fine upstairs until you opened your mouth again. I nearly preferred you when you had a gun pointed towards my head?"
"You had a gun pointed towards her head?" As we entered the kitchen which held all eleven guys who looked at me cautiously and Thea with worry. I looked to Johnson who was the only one brave enough to glare at me. Me and Thea glanced at each other.
"No, she just... Stood in the way of my gun" I said awkwardly. Thea snorted and shook her head.
"Then why did we hear gun shots?" He pressed, squinting his eyes.
"Cause I pulled the trigger, duh" I said stating the obvious. Johnson rolled his eyes, eyeing Thea for any injuries but remained defeated. Not to mention Nash doing the same. Except he was eyeing her up fulls top.
"Are you okay now?" I turned to look at Cameron who had a look of wariness and concern on his face. I nodded my head and flashed him a smile.
"What had you so bothered?" My smiled dropped when Jack spoke. My lips fell to a straight line and I caught Aidens knowing and sad look.
He also had a look that said 'you better tell them soon cause if you don't I will cut all your organs up and eat them in front of Thalias grave'
I didn't have an answer. I couldn't say I was craving drugs cause they know I don't do them any more. I couldn't say I was incredibly horny cause I got laid like yesterday. And I couldn't say I was dieing for a drink cause I came home pissed drunk.
